Idea For Noed Maybe
So my idea for noed is:
1. It is no longer a hex perk.
2. Once the exit gates are powered, survivors are exposed for 3 minutes (maybe that's too long idk).
3. For every remaining dull totem on the map, once the gates are powered, the killer gains an extra 30 seconds of the exposed effect.
Edit: 4. Keep the speed boost.
This change would give survivors a reason to do totems, because if you are a solo survivor it's very hard to do all of the totems when you don't know how many your teammates have done. Also it would still benefit the killer even if all totems are done.
Idk if this a good change or not you tell me. Also, please no dumb replies.

It doesn't really matter what change you make. People are going to complain they got killed because of Noed and could'nt save there friends. When noed is nerfed they'll move on to complaining about Devour Hope or Rancor.

It wouldn’t change anything really. Even if you do the perfectly fair counter which is doing bones, it would still activate for that 3 minutes. Also taking away speedboost would make killers worst at quarding the gates or getting people faster at loops when you know you have no time left. So that part is a pointless nerf.

I would keep the speed boost.

I have to disagree with this form of NOED.
- Anyone hooked after the gens are done is pretty much dead whilst this Perk is active. At least you can cleanse the totem with current NOED, what are you supposed to do with this new NOED?
- Less opportunity for Survivors to play around this. You can cleanse totems but it will still activate, and you won’t know it’s in-game until someone gets downed.
- Killer gets rewarded for being bad. Killers don’t need to worry about getting gen-rushed AND having their totems cleansed, NOED stills activates and the Survivors won’t know until someone is downed.

You can't seriously be saying that Rancor is a fair perk. It literally has no counterplay, and the person it affects didn't necessarily want to be the obsession.

You almost made me spit out my tea. Rancor has plenty of opportunity to play around.
Before the last gen is complete, hide in a locker. If no locker is available, find a safe area to loop or create distance.
After several seconds, sneak to the exit and escape before the Killer finds you.
Unless you’re the last Survivor (of which then the Perk is overkill), you have ways to play around this and survive.

Saying hide in a locker is all well and good until you take into account the second part of the perk, it reveals the positions of all survivors when a gen is done. If the perk was just an insta down it wouldn't be as bad but an insta down and mori is ridiculous.

Honestly I just want something done to noed where me doing a totem actually matters.

iirc it reveals survivors the same way as infectious fright (the bubble thing). The bubble doesn't follow you or anything, so if you keep stealthily moving in one direction and then get into a locker it should be harder to find you.
Edit: And because the obession sees the killer's aura for a short amount of time you can kinda tell which direction they'll be coming from.

Create distance and prepare to loop or hide. (Thought hiding in the Locker hides your position like BBQ & Chilli but may have just played against bad Killers when I’m the Rancor obsession).
The insta-down and Mori only affects the Obsession. If the Killer decides to ignore the remaining Survivors to find the Obsession, they’re shooting themselves in the foot. If they go after another Survivor, there’s the opportunity for the Obsession to escape.
The only bad situation is if the Killer is chasing the Obsession at the time the last gen is done because then your options are very limited. But that kind of situation is rare.

It has counterplay. It only affects one person. Half the time Rancor is never actually used. Unless you or your team are potatos, then rancor will hardly be used.

1. As it stands, I like the idea of being able to counter this powerful perk... survivors "CHOOSE" not to cleanse dull totems... Survivors have the ability throughout the entire trial to PREVENT this perk from activating. I don't think its appropriate to reward bad choices with overhauling the perk.
2. I would recommend no changes to how the perk activates--it's an endgame perk. Once all gens are powered, it either activates or it doesn't.
3. I wouldn't recommend changing this either--as it stands the perk is strong if allowed to activate... something the survivors have control over. As a matter of fact, even AFTER the perk activates, it can still be deactivated--its not like its in permanent effect or something.
Now let's mention "Adrenaline"... (scenario) endgame about to happen, as the last gen is being repaired by an injured survivor #4... survivor #1 and #2 are in dying state... (slugged)... survivor #3 is injured and running the killer on the opposite side of the map. Killer has NOED in the wind. Dull totems were not broken. Final gen is powered. NOED activates. Survivor #4 is fully healed with Adrenaline. Survivor #1 is healed to injured state and heading to the exit door. Survivor #2 is healed to injured state and heading to the exit door. Survivor #3 is healed by way of Adrenaline and with Hope, leaves the killer in the dust.
We can have debates like this all day... but until the game is balanced.... please leave NOED alone.

Ok so you're obviously one of those killer mains that say blah blah blah do totems easy counter oh and adrenaline op. I asked for no dumb replies so don't bother saying anything else.

You’re 23 days late for April fools.

Here's a better idea: cleanse the totems. If you can't find them, there are perks to help you.

You realise you're complaining about a perk worse than bitter murmer, right?

The only change noed could receive should be to make it only affect those on death hook.
