THIS CHALLENGE IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!

Icery Member Posts: 199

I try to completely finish tome 1 but this challenge is pretty hard. I sacrificed all survivors in basement before but i forgot to activate this challenge. You need to be an awesome player to complete this at rank 9 or just camp and grab them. What do you guys think about this????

Play as Leatherface and make all four go into the killer shack when there is a Gen there, and act like you want them to finish it. Then down em all, etc.

Will probably never happen tho lul

Think I've done it before as trapper when I was three genned with a basement dead center between the three gens. Was quite the blessing of the rng though.

I actually did this on my first try. It is much easier to get on maps where the basement is in the middle of the map. Use Agitation + Iron Grasp and you won't have any trouble carrying them to the basement. Don't just camp them after hooking because people won't attempt to save and they will just do gens (if they are smart at least).

I got lucky with this one, first game with it they all basically killed themselves in the basement.

    Love them over-altruistic SWF

Perks: The usual Basement Build; Agitation, Iron Grasp, Mad Grit. 4th up to you.

Killers: Any you are good with and can down Survivors by demand (good chasers or instadown) and/or have strong defence powers (Trapper, Hag).

Maps: Basements easily accessible. Lery's, Haddonfield, Wrecker's Yard, Rotten Fields. Those are the best ones. Others are 50-50 depending on what basement spawns (Temple of Wrath).

I got it in a random huntress game. It's mostly just luck since most maps don't have convenient basements.

I had to do this twice because it’s bugged. Make sure you kill a survivor on each of the 4 hooks. I found that others had the same issue and using all 4 hooks fixed it. Good luck!

Got this with Trapper, traps around shack help. Also, if you use agitation with Iron Grasp, you can made it to the basement really far away.

I had three sacrifices in the basement. One last survivor left and I spotted him as he sprints toward the hatch.

    WHACK!

Survivor down! Victory will finally be mine!!! Match after match after friggin match and I've got it!!!!

Two steps from the basement hook. Two measly tiny little steps...

The survivor wiggles out and escapes through the Hatch

Got this first game as Trapper on Coal Tower. I immediately went to the tower and found the basement and set up around there. Somehow, everyone else was down there as well, and they only got 1 gen done (they were being a bit too altruistic).

It was pure luck though, especially with the time this was done, due to DC penalties not being implemented and Survivors purposefully DC'ing to deny the challenge.

Keep at it, you'll get there eventually.

I made it on 3rd try with scummy insidious/iron grasp/agitation leatherface when dc's were free. Now with the ban system is a lot easier. I wish you luck.

You have to slug with iron grasp and agitation, possibly deer stalker as well. One hit down or keeping them injured with sloppy helps and throw in a tracking perk or that great oni addon.

much easier to do with three people so focus on getting one dead in the basement first.

Basement parties are rare I’ve had a four man basement party about ten times at most with about 3K hours and it takes a lot of luck and real potatoes... don’t focus on this. Sacrifice everyone in the basement... not necessarily everyone in there at the same time.

Best chance is iron grasp, agitation, mad grit, and hopefully get a map where the basement is in the middle. I got it done on Father Campbell's. The basement was in the main building.

It is much easier with a killer that can easily guard the basement. I got mine using Hag with Mint Rag and Make Your Choice.

Iron Grasp, Agitation, Mad Grit and one random perk.

    Replay until you get lucky.

I'm gonna tell you my secret. I didn't care about it. It was my last challenge for the first rift, and I just had it there forever until eventually I got it in a match without any optimal perks or strategy for it.

I did it with Oni on hawkings with the basement under the stairs after I managed to make them be very altruistic, and I had 2 ppl slugged for the DS so I realised I could make it.

Fun fact is that one of those survivors is today one of my dbd friends and we eventually do swf.

This game actually brings you surprises.

Basement leatherface. Sure you might get hate for it, but hey a challenge is a challenge.

Insidious, Agitation, Iron grasp and BBQ

The way I'd do this is with Trapper using Agitation + Iron Grasp. Allow the further generators to get repaired, so they're funneled a bit closer to the basement. Maybe use a good general tracking perk, such as Stridor.

I got this challenge as basement Bubba.

    You'll need:

    • Bubba, of course
    • That purple coin that removes two chests from the game
    • Perks: Insidious, NoED, BBQ or Iron Grasp, and Agitation
    • My add-on suggestions are to use ones that decrease your chainsaw charging time as much as possible

As for map offerings you want a small map with a basement that can spawn in the middle. I was lucky that I got Wretched Shop with the basement in the main building when I did this. I just camped in the basement at the start of the match and waited for my first target. There was only 1 gen left before a Bill came down the stairs to get the basement chest. I destroyed him, hooked him, and proceeded to camp. Soon a wild Feng appeared and attempted to get close to me and run away when I would rev my chainsaw. I would stop chasing her as soon as I got up the stairs making her believe I wouldn't chase her further. On the 3rd time of her coming down the steps I actually chased her and mowed her, and her two remaining survivor friends, in one swoop. GG EZ

I remember this challenge, would have had it first try with myers (agi+iron grasp+infectious+corrupt) but one survivor decided to dc right before I could hook him (she was on death hook anyways). So at the end I sacrifized 3 people in the basement with 1dc. Next game a survivor dc'd again, so no challenge... but third try was surccessfull :)

You can go classic with a basement bubba or trapper/hag. Both are really good to defend the basement and waste time of survivors to even get there (disarm trap/crouch over them).

    good luck

Hmm, ideally you want to use someone with an insta-down. (except billy for obvious reasons.) You could try Ghost Face if you have him or Michael Myers with add ons to increase the amount of stalk or evil gained. If you don't have many DLC characters, you can do a Basement Trapper build. Instead of BBQ you can use any other location perk like Bitter Murmur if you don't have anything.

I did it with trapper the first time, it sounds difficult but it really isn't, bring agitation and set up close to the basement

This is one of the many cases where survivors control the game.

Get everyone in the basement and they dc to ######### you over.

But I eventually got it with Oni. Wasn't even a basement build.

So i made sure i couldn't really fail this challenge so i got it first try but and at rank 9 it shouldnt be too hard for you but this is how i done mine if you wanna give this ago

Trapper (great ability to trap around the basement, can get multiple people in there at once)

Corrupt to slow down early gens and allows some set-up/chases,

Agitation for faster carrying to basement,

iron grasp just to be sure i got to the basement every time

BBQ, just so i can see roughly where people are and where i can start pushing survivors

Use the yamaoka map offering, sooooo much grass means easy to hide traps all around and the basements themselves are in great places

Add-ons should be a bag, any kinda but the more traps you can carry the better and darker traps/setting tools its up to you

Find basement, set a few traps around and begin hunting. get the first person in and use BBQ to get an idea where people are, finish setting up and find another, always try chase them near the basement, going too far from it can mean easy saves for them and you can lose alot of pressure

It is a bit of luck and good planning. I did this with the doctor on lerys, the basement was in the library. What I did was hook the survivors twice wherever I could and on their last hook I took them to the basement. I think if you go too try hard and make it obvious, some survivors will ensure you never get it.

One thing I found helped me when I went for this challenge was to keep track of everyone and know which survivors are on death hook. Don’t actively go for the basement every single time you go to hook someone or else they know you’re trying to basement hook everyone and it’ll make them play far from the basement. Just do it when you know they’re on death hook.

As others have said: Agitation and Iron Grasp are huge helpers in getting this to work.

I left it as my last challenge, it took me like 3 days, just casual playing, I got it with oni in hawkings in red ranks.

The bad way of doing a challenge is going with it on mind, when every single of those can be completed in casual plays, they don't ask you something you never did before. You just end pissed after attempting it several times and you just fail.

extra from that story: I made friends with one of those survivors, we still play together sometimes

Here’s the easiest way to pull off this achievement, and you only need mediocre skill level to accomplish it, making it possible on any tier. While this achievement will be much easier in low ranks, as the survivors just are not as good, a simple gameplan can make this possible easily for higher ranks.

    Killer: Trapper

Perks: Agitation, Iron Grasp, Mad Grit, Monstrous Shrine. (If not worried about bodyblocking, replace Mad Grit with Deerstalker)

AddOns: Oily Coil and Bloody Coil

Offering: Dusty Noose - places you in Grave of Glenvale map.

Tactical Strategy: once survivors catch on, the smart players will make it more difficult by staying away from basement. This achievement will work much better if the basement is in the killer shack rather than the saloon basement. I would not break the killer shack wall. Once you get a survivor here, there is no need to camp. Trap the 3 entrances (which is why we don’t want to break the wall), go find another survivor. If someone goes for the save, they must disarm the trap...which takes tremendously longer because if Oily Coil, and they will become injured because of Bloody Coil. Now when they get the save (assuming they make it), they can trade hooks. Don’t be afraid to tunnel here. Dont be afraid of Borrowed Time, please willingly eat the Decisive Strikes. If they don’t have them, easier for you. When you down a survivor outside of the shack, be mindful to pick up any traps that may be blocking your route that you’ve already placed. If necessary, temporarily pick up 1 trap before picking up the survivor. Rinse and repeat.

This method is not required, it’s just a dirty tactic to make it drastically easier. 3 games max, you’ll have this done.

It depends on map u got. If basement in middle area, it's easy to get... Got this challenge with trapper.

Dark sense one is worse imo, I didn't even attempt it. Use bubba with territorial imperative, agitation, iron grasp and pgtw. Don't stray more then 40 m from the basement and regress closest gens with pgtw. Edit: if you use insidious some of them might dc

  • AChaoticKiller
    AChaoticKiller Member Posts: 3,104

I'll just use my billy again i mean he has map pressure and an instant down so sacrificing two perk slots for getting people to the basement isn't too bad

build is agitation, iron grasp, pgtw, and bbq but this could really be whatever you want.

  • Dead_by_Gadfly

Play trapper, run agitation, iron grasp, bbq and monstrous shrine (for the luls).

You need a bag and tar bottle. If basement is in shack put a trap outside the window and in an outside corner of the shack in grass. Place traps on any pallets near shack.

Have 3 traps on you and chase some one, try and coral them towards shack, put them in basement. Place 1 trap on bottom of stairs next to hooks. If youre looking at stairs with hooks to your back, right hand side of stairs and actually on tge steps. Then walk up tge stairs, the door right in front of you place a trap in tge doorway.

What weve done here is trapped every wat in and out of the shack with 2 hidden traps to take them by suprise, theres only one way in and one way out that isnt trapped. Thats for you to walk in and out of.

If the basement isnt in killer shack the strategy is the same you just have to be creative locking down the ways in and out.

I got this challange in red ranks, took me 3 or 4 games. Dont forget where you put your traps, you dont want to step in them

Gratz to the challenge @Icery :)

Just if anyone else comes by: I got that achievement with Myers. Although I didn't really force it. But having insta downs ready near the basement with Infectious Fright can work wonders. Had it on suffocation pit, that helped as well. Having fun at the basement side, letting others do the gens on the other side until they have to come to you. But Agitation + Iron Grasp is kinda must-have.

There are also several basement builds that work well. Trapper by basekit is a good basement killer, hag as well. Freddy could work too when you have a gen very close to the basement entry. Demogorgon works too, always keep a closed portal near the basement to make sure you can teleport there by any means. Builds with teleport killers would be Iron grasp + Agitation to get there initially, then add Make Your Choice and STBFL. Fast hit recovery and the distance avoids BT on the hooked one and exposes the unhooker. So 2 quick hits to get 2 downs. Just timing is essential. For example with Demo, not too late to be able to catch them on the stairs, but also not too early or you dont get the exposed status.
