There needs to be a severe penalty for camping

The other night I played five straight survivor matches where the killer never left our side (and when you're having to wait 10 minutes inbetween matches that can be aggravating to say the least). In my opinion that's almost as bad as disconnecting. Some killers like Leatherface can see to it that multiple survivors can be downed at once which ruins a team's ability to save you should more than one member try to save a hooked survivor. I think there should be a massive penalty in blood points should a killer stay within 30 or at least 12 meters of a hooked survivor, and the survivors should accrue more bloodpoints the closer in proximity the killer is to them being hooked.

That wouldn't work at all survivors can abuse that I'm every match. They could be looping the killer around you on hook or they could be hiding around your hook area and the killer knows that either because of hearing, whispers, or like barbecue and the killer is gonna look around for that said person.

There is, it’s called losing the match.

Yeah this is not going to fly survival so just going to loop the killer by the hook.

Especially when they know they could not only screw The Killers bloodpoints over but they get bonus bloodpoints at that

There needs to be something in place though. There's nothing more frustrating than knowing that you ended a match with a meager 5000 blood points or less because the killer never left your side, whereas the killer still walked away with 25,000 bloodpoints.

Sorry but if the killer gets 25k points for camping, that's the survivors fault. Do gens and leave instead of feeding the killer points.

Then, you get camped and the killer gets heavily penalized. Are you happy then to tell the killer how bad he was penalized and flaming him in chat with that? Or happy just knowing about it, grinning on the hook while the killer stares at you?

Btw the killer only gets 25k out of that and more than 1 kill if survivors throw themselves into his weapon, trying to get the sweet 1k unhook points

There is a penalty. If the killer is camping then the other survivors can do gens.

Option on survivors get blood point if the killer is 10 maybe 6 or so feet around the the survivor when they r on hook. that way u can still pip maybe even get points for distraction cuz that's basically what your doing. Your distracting the killer while on hook. I get what your coming from but 30 meters be to much and no killer wants survivors to get a free rescue.

If you happen to be a new player it's really hard to get better at the game if you're never allowed to get back into it upon being hooked. And only looking out for yourself is a really bad way to play as a team.

I find camping a good thing, I can usually run them around long enough that the killer has to spend the rest of the game on me so my teammates can escape but here are some points:

    1. I’ll say this again, the devs have verified camping as being a legit strategy
    2. You are probably low rank because high rank killers know better than to face camp
    3. Get over it and move on to your next game, no need to dwell on the negatives, think of the positives
    4. Killers are mechanically built to get higher bp than all of the survivors 75% of the time
    5. If all four people got killed because of one face camp you guys seriously messed up

Do gens, stop rewarding the camper.

Play killer or go into a Kill your Friends lobby and practice.

And it's not wrong to play only for yourself. If someone needs to die so the others can escape, so be it.

Yeah camping is an easy counter. Bubba pretty much is the only one that can be really effective with it.

Do gennys and you can usually get at least 2 out.

Take one for the team, send a gg, and move on. Chances are it won't always be you taking one for the team. Just remember do gennys when you are not the camped one.

Would there be anything wrong with slowing hook progress down if no Survivors are in the (idk, 46 meter?) vicinity of the hooked player and the Killer is still camping?

Any killer that camp will basically lose the game and the pressure on gens. No killer equal no pressure. Easier to get gens done too without someone going after you. Run camaraderie and borrow time maybe that should help against camping.

Where would I be without the anti-camping posts? This is entertaining. Keep them coming!

I agree. There also should be severe penalties for gen rushing. For 2/3rds of the day, my wait as a killer can be 10-20 minutes. My wait is longer than yours. I demand stronger penalties for rushing the match. Rar!

Games can go so quickly that honestly if the killer ended up getting 25k BP just from facecamping, at least one person on your team critically screwed up.
