Confirm that they do not know how to do an update
I confirmed what I always believed. They do not know how to update without errors. I was already expecting what new bugs this update would bring. This time it's billy. The animation of the saw is horrible, I don't know if it is a bug or a nerf but it is simply bad. When you finish using the saw it occupies half of the screen along with your own arm
Also, when you crash into something billy freezes after performing the animation.
Have any updates ever worked well?
In short, they once again confirmed incompetence. Ohh sorry, I must be nice because they try hard and they do it for free my apologies

Many things wasn't fixed: hitboxes, dead hard etc. They increased the amount of deadzones in maps. And you're complaining about Billy animation? Pff

Yup they broke it. Dunno how, maybe they were trying to shadow nerf Billy lol.

''they don't know how to do an update''
-Some dude whit no dev or programming experience at all, no knowledge on game design, and who ignored this patch bugfix list
6 -
Nah, a shadow nerf is never this blatantly obvious to the point where even survivors see it in game. This was just a bug. Typical BHVR fare.

because hillbilly and bubba were going to be the next updated killers, they have been touching billy and they left this half-done work in the update

lmao

it's kinda funny how I say it but it's the truth, can't find rn peanits' comment where he mentioned this after doctor's rework.

I mean, you would have a point, but besides the fact that you don't know this person, or their education/qualifications...this is BHVR. With every update (not exaggerating, literally every single one), something gets broken, and it usually takes months, upon months to fix ti (unless it's a glaring survivor issue like DS being broken with Doctor etc).

I only played two games as a killer. I refused to keep playing, I didn't try surv

Because it is not my job. It is like tomorrow I am mistaken as a doctor, you make me notice it and I say "ahh but do you know any medicine?" It's my responsibility, I'm supposed to study for that If I did it wrong, it was my mistake

Except Computer science and programming is not a ''by the book'' domain like Medcine. A Doctor, if he ever screw up, know why he did so. When you have thousand and thousand of line of code, finding wich one does a bug and why ain't simple.

Triple check your work and get a second coder to review it and you'll never have mass amount of bugs cluttering the game.
3 -
Even then it wont work all the time. I can tell since I study in that domain. We still do basic things and debugging those or finding error take time, even if were 2 or 3 checking it. Now imagine when there a tons of lines of code and object that interact with eachother and SOMETIME have error, but you can know where they come from or wich interaction does that.

You want bad updates, failed patches, game wrecking bugs and incompetent devs go play division 2.
0 -
You don't need that experience. All you need is look to the side and see how different dev teams do a better job with their games. But you, you can stay in your bubble and never look around you. Just keep supporting BHVR blindly, what could go wrong amaright?

Name me a single game that is bug-less.

Also every other "major" Nintendo title besides Pokemon Sw/Sh

It said BETTER JOB and not perfect job. Don't twist my words. In my steam library and PlayStation library every dev is doing a better job. Bhvr is the worst and dbd the worst optimised game I ever played in my life.

This game is fine. Making and maintaining games is hard. I never noticed something really bad for several updates. Good job so far.
Have you caught friday 13 development history? That was horrible. They literally broke the game with their bare hands its barely playable now if you compare it with release version and i will never ever buy anything from IllFonic again and will always promote their bad behaviour to their games.

Hope you don't have any bethesda game in those cause it would make you a liar.

You can litteraly find bug compilation video about Splatoon 2, try harder.

Could be Patch 3.0.0 where Wake Up was able too effect literally everything anytime (still not sure how that happened) along with almost 20 perks that were bugged/broken in some way. These devs do nothing but rush content instead of taking the time needed too make it stable.

That's a strawman argument if I ever heard one. That's as silly as me saying "name as many games that are as buggy as DBD that introduce as many bugs each update". Funny thing is, my question would actually have fewer possible answers.

Any bethesda game.

The main difference between Bethesda and BHVR is that BHVR continuously breaks the same things, over and over again. Bethesda also doesn't have pre-release beta's (PTB in BHVR's case). BHVR does, and it STILL happens.
2 -
Bethesda have a biger devlopement team, They had a pre-release beta for Fallout 76 and it probably their most buggy game ever. They use the same old engine that they barely update so you get some bug that are common across all their games.
That and I can assure you any game with PTB still has tons of bug. I agree too that BHVR take year to fix or update anything.
Fromsoftware also fixed barely any bugs in DS remastered, and it not like Fromsoftware has a bad rep of a game designer.

Bigger dev team is a false argument. They have dev teams as large as they need to be. DBD doesn't need a larger dev team for the linear game it is. There's not a lot to DBD.
Look at the dev team behind Black Mesa. They created a total masterpiece. Much of it completely redone in the last couple years...and there's like 10 of them.
