Confusing challenge is confusing.
Well this challenge was confusing as hell.
What I read it as is: escape after someone else has escaped while using the perk bond.
When In actuality it's: be alive while someone else escapes.
As you can see I died and still completed the challenge

I agree it is confusing wording, but after seeing you explain it it does kind of make sense. It makes me think of the daily ritual, where it says "survive and escape with X survivor" which I always thought sounded a little redundant, but maybe this is why they word it like that.

It would be interesting to see how this works with the new hook struggle, i.e. if you get the challenge while you're on hook and they escape and you get insta sacrificed.

I guess the confusion started at the very first word.
"Survive" could mean both things in this case: Just stay alive or escape.
In this case, it was the former.

I hate challenges like these. Like it depends from other players action and not yours to complete this.
