Yikes! The Rift!
Oh boy oh man, I popped into the game to have a googly oogly at the new cosmetics in the rift and all I got was a whole lotta ugly but no googly.
I had to cover my face in shock over the pass cosmetics, the only thing that looks in taste is the Dwight jacket and the f r e e Spirit skin towards the end; its all recycled recolours that are... in curious tastes.
Beyonce sweetie, I'm so sorry...
(Obviously, I know I dont have to buy it so I have no room to complain blah blah, just had to let it outta my system.)
How is yall feelin about it?

There's nothing for best boi Philip, so i'm not very interested.
Even moreso, the final Charm, to me, is the worst looking one so far.
I'm not really criticising this Rift in general, but on a personal level, i'm not going to care about the Rift for 2 months.

When I heard Adam I got excited but when I looked the Rift was full of bad recolors. I guess I'll just not :/

The only good one to me is the Huntress one but...
Why do all her outfits remove her breasts?
She has great breasts and they tend to remove them with each new outfit.
(I'm not into chicks, it's just something that irks me)

But I completely agree; not for me personally, but maybe someone else will enjoy it. In the last one there was alot of uniqueness I feel which I couldnt find here, sure this one has a bunch of bright outfits like previous but they're just recolours, unlike what Feng(I think it was?) got last time with the new pastely puffy outfit for example, survivor wise anyway since we all know and adore the elephant Clown.

I love the Kate one. That hair alone makes me want to purchase the whole thing (which I probably will honestly). And the Julie one (except for the mask, which is hideous).
All others are really meh, especially the Huntress outfit.

i like the Kate and Huntress stuff so i bought it but everything else is bad
we go from Feng having a cool Oni-style outfit to ANOTHER recolor of her default outfit

My bad! I must have accidentally skipped over the Kate when looking through as I was processing the other skins. (Defo haunted by that Huntress mask from the get go.) I agree though those are the two better ones, cant go wrong with a cute little sweater and some plaid, the Legion look is definitely the best thing on there!

Well, I disagree if you think the whole rift is bad. Legion’s and Spirits outfits are very very good. I like Plague’s recolor but understand if you don’t.
Huntress feels like Doctor’s from last rift. Good concept. A bit bulky. Clever but probably prefer something else. I wish her horse mask was more detailed like the late horse head charm.
For the solo pieces I remember Hillbilly, Hag, and Spirit got one. Hags piece completes the outfit from the first Tome (awesome). Other two are okay. I want to see Hillbilly’s new cosmetic with the prestiged legs.
The survivors have a few I really like. Feng, Kate, and Adam are awesome. I agree about Dwight cause I don’t like the leg piece lol. Yui has a bit of a muscular shape that makes me not a fan.
Solo pieces are David, Meg, and Feng. Feng’s ponytail is great. Fully expect to see that quite a bit. Other two are okay.
So out of at least eight outfits, I am excited for at least five of them and a couple solo pieces.
I will be purchasing.
Edit: Forgot Claudette’s gold recolor. I like this and didn’t buy this cosmetic. I’ll be using this on her once unlocked for sure.

Honestly, giving Feng more recolours is a crime. Like someone else suggested in a different post about the Rifts I think it would be better to just get some Iridecent Shards rather than just a new colour, that way you can either make the concious choice to get a recolour yourself of your choice or spend it on something you actually might want!

I understand why they wouldnt give too much away for free, as then the people who bought the battlepass would feel conned, since you're getting plenty of outfits for the average price of one I believe if you bought one outright vs the rift. But yeah; its nothing really inspiring me to play to grind for the rewards, and nothing really beckoning me to want to purchase the other unlocks, each to their own though!

A lot of them are pretty good, huntress, spirit, plague, legion, Kate all got nice ones. Plus a couple nice odds and ends like nea head and meg pants.

I agree! There are a few things that are good! Looking back to the previous Rift however it seems v e r y underwhelming, and I'm guessing the bright recolours were supposed to counteract the fact that everything is a bit brown, but it doesnt quite make it any better when theyre pretty lazy looking. The David shirt for example, is somehow worse than anything I can find for him in the store.
I'm glad you like it though! We all have different tastes and my opinion isnt gospel so I'm glad there is someone who enjoys it! I hope you get all the pieces you want and make the outfit you like! :D

I haven't played in about a month and a half due to burn out. This will probably be the first rift I don't complete but am fine with that since it's purely cosmetic anyways.
Resistance and FF7R have gotten most of my attention lately

The only tings I liked from this pass are the huntress jacket and weapon and yui new set

I personally love the Kate Denson outfit! The only thing I'm not wild about is the daisy in her hair. That ponytail is SO CUTE otherwise. And the sweater and jeans are a really adorable combination.
The top of Dwight's outfit also looks like it might be really nice when paired with other items.
I also really like the entirety of the Huntress outfit. It is a really great concept and comes from her direct lore which is always a plus! 😍

I'm not particularly thrilled about these cosmetics, because I've seen the ones from rifts 1 and 2, and I just like them better, but I see a lot of people complaining about the fact that some of the skins are recolors in this rift. That's kind of how it's been since the first one, so that logic kind of confuses me.

I really do love the simpler outfits in all honestly for survivors, So I agree with the Kate outfit being really nice. It might be a bias as I personally have a deep love for sweaters. (I was overjoyed with the Christmas Sweaters when they first came out, Except Janes, my love got ROBBED with that nasty thing.) Same with the Dwight layer combo, its peak fashion :D!
Lore supporting items are always a lovely bonus, yeah! It is a bit brown overall and I honestly dont know what my feelings are over the mask but I'm sure many others love it! :D

It may be the fact that the rift is so underwhelming overall that the recolours stand out the most, possibly due to the fact that theyre a bright ass rainbow too, I dont know tbf, the last Rift just seemed so much more memorable even with the recolours. If I remember correctly the blue ice Hag skin was a recolour, yet it looked so nice perhaps due to the fact it was a cosmetic rather than the base, it had its uniqueness to it rather than just having a bright ass gradient slapped onto it and calling it a day.

First Rift I've purchased since I'm a Kate main and dat lore. But im running into a problem of no Killer chasing me! Took me THREE games to get the pallet ones.
Seriously, second game the Freddy saw me, shook his head at me, and walked off

The physics on her ponytail is AWFUL though but that's more a problem of the hair physics as a whole. When you're hooked it literally sticks straight up like a stick.

I don't mind if people complain about the specific recolors themselves (for example, I think the neon ones are pretty ugly in this rift as well) but I've seen complaints about the fact that there is recolors, as if that hasn't been happening.

The Spirit outfit it just okay, other than that it is a poor effort. I also don't like this trend of splitting cosmetics between different rifts like they have done here with the Hag. Rift outfits should be complete and not used to entice investment into another Rift.

Oh yikes, no I completely understand that they would include recolours although I'm not a fan of them and would rather they just give shards for it but thats just my opinion on the matter. Its unrealistic to expect every single thing to be a new unique concept on the rift anyhow, it wouldnt be worth it for the company to do that. I'm pretty sure every game battlepass includes recolours and its not just a DBD thing, so it is a bit silly to complain about that, my disappointment was with how bad they were for sure. I dont think people understand the work that goes into design and creation of things that have petty complains like that.

Yeah I agree, splitting things between battlepass makes it unfair on the people who cant afford to keep putting money into the game to get a complete set, but I do think that the split items are also just recolours if im not mistaken? So you could always try to mix and match, of course its harder to do with killer but what can you do :(.

I don't play this game enough to even reach half way point so I probably wouldn't have reached far but god damn it's not worth it in the slightest.
Only rift that was worth it IMO was the clown outfit as it was just funny/cool looking.

Yeah, the Hag hat is a recolour, but it really should have been in the first Rift. I've noticed some of the most greedy behaviour coming out of BHVR with these Rifts. The first Rift was okay, it didn't feel grindy and the rewards were good. Second Rift was grindy but the rewards were good. Third Rift has a Hag hat that should have been in the first Rift, the rewards in general aren't that good and it will probably be as grindy, if not more grindy, than the second Rift to encourage you to purchase tiers.
I'm done with these Rifts and I won't be purchasing this one or any future Rifts until more effort is put into them and you can get 100% completion only doing the challenges.
