Which is why the EGC shouldn't be a guaranteed 4K for the killer because it doesn't matter if the survivor finds the hatch first or not — killer takes priority every time.

At the very least, have the Exit Gate spawn into the wall so it's impossible for the killer to keep both eyes on the gates. 😅

The hatch is meant as a last resort if you as survivor have to rely on a hatch your team has already lost because you either didnt complete your objective or no longer have the resources to complete the final objective. The hatch is already an rng gimme to survivors the killer has earned a 4k if they've gotten everybody killed and knows where hatch is, hence why it favors killer like most other animations in the game since they're inherently in a 4v1.

The amount of times ive had survivorss tbag spam at the hatch because there o/is LITERALLY nothing i can do is insane. Disheartening after a really good game where ot was down to the wire, hook the third guy, spend forever looking for guy 4 to see him tbagging and not doing anything. Only going down the hatch when i get.too close

It doesn't matter if the survivor finds the hatch first because if the killer finds the hatch first or second, he can hook and make their way to the hatch as the other survivor is being sacrificed. When I played killer, I would slug and search for the hatch to guarantee I'm able to close it.

That's why people shouldn't say the hatch is 50/50 because the killer can make it 0/100 if they play their cards right.

Which is why I believe Exit Gates should spawn on the same wall, but how they do in Lèry's where you are forced to check both Exit Gates. It doesn't have to a big gap between the Exit Gates, just enough to at least give the survivor a chance to work on an Exit Gate without the killer having both of them in sight. 😅

I mean what's the point in a 2 minute EGC when you can't do anything, but let the killer sacrifice you? Why not just have the Entity sacrifice you on the spot if you're going to spawn both Exit Gates in sight of each other?

And the killer only killed 3 of the 4 survivors, so he technically hadn't finished his either. But I seem to be hearing that he should be favored because he's "almost done." So was the survivor. At the end of the day, while killers complain about survivors, survivors still have to deal with the fact that there are other players that can completely ruin their experience. The killer doesn't need the extra help in that regard. At the end of the day, the animation shouldn't play out that long, or the hatch should open the minute the player is stabbed by the entity. If the end game is designed to favor the killer, the the hatch should contrarily favor the player, since there are requirements for it to show up and open anyway.

Killed should take priority because, a. hatch grabs are not possible anymore and b. It's a horror game. It should always favor killer.

    Dawg, this pisses me off!

Just ADD a hatch timer. Why is DBD so afraid of timers, just give me a literal on screen timer for how long EXACTLY until hatch FLIPS open. Even CS GO has a timer for the action of defusing a bomb, c'mon now. Lack of gen and other action timers? Sure. Whatever. SOMETHING AS IMPORTANT AS THIS!?!? Unforgivable.

They could make the hatch faster, but in order for the hatch to appear, survivors should get 3 gens in my opinion, that would mean that they got at least half of the objective done. It always pisses me off when the survs do nothing all game, 5 gens left, and the last surv has the chance of getting to escape after doing nothing all game long. Also, we need the hatch grabs back, we need key and mori nerfs, but that's another topic.

Everyone keeps forgetting that your skills at getting chased and help the team, doesn't actually matter, survivors are a team, they should work as ONE, a survivor making a mistake is 1/4 punishing compared to killer's making mistakes, if the TEAM didn't get all gens done, it's the whole team's fault, it's not only your trash temmates because of solo q.

Kate_Main_01 actually deserves hatch, she basically carried her team, but that doesn't mean that the killer didn't deserve the 4k, she even wrote in the first comment that there were not many mistakes from both teams, as everyone knows, hatch is based of being lucky, there's times I also feel hatch takes a lot of time to open, but I have my own 'strat' for these occasions.

I just wait for the animation to be like 75% and then I run to the killer, if they are dumb and hit me, I'm out, if not, I'm done, it's kind off a 50/50.

I'm a survivor main, so you can't tell me that I don't know how it feels to do everything for your team and still die, I do know how it feels, but that's how this game works, things almost never go as you want em to go.
