Rank 20 killers back to back in rank 1...
Anyone else playing and realizing they're just getting rank 20 killers consistently as of recent? I mean, I understand there isn't a huge amount of red rank killers, but I haven't had this problem until a couple days ago, I used to get a decent amount of red rank killers and at least purple rank killers.. Now it's just rank 20 back to back.. I've been rank 1 on survivor for a good while now and I've never had this problem until now.. Is anyone else?

Yup, one guy even told us he’s happy it’s free on Xbox pass because he’s never playing it again.

I quote Kilmeran. Plattform and how long have you seen this "issue" to let people understand better. When i play Surv from pc (red rank) i have matches max vs killer rank 7-8. Rare situation we are paired vs a rank 14.

And depending on your number in Red rank, that 7 or 8 might even be within the +6/=6 the MM is supposed to go up to. I'm PC NA, and though I often get the upper limits of that +/- 6 since the patch, my matches beyond that have dropped significantly.
I'm curious as to his platform, because it seems some PC regions and a lot of console regions are hit with the wild MM a lot more.

I don't blame him, pretty sure it's a glitch where the matchmaking gets reversed that got added in mid season patch but the devs haven't addressed it yet.. It makes it difficult for new players to get into the game and difficult for more experienced players to not get bored. Thing is the exact same thing happened when the stranger things chapter came out but it got patched waaaay sooner

I'm on xbox one and it's been happening since the recent mid-season patch, which makes me suspect it's a bug in the game that's reversing the ranked matchmaking but I'm not sure, that's why I was wondering if others are having the issue. Hopes this clears things up a lil <3

I can add more information to the discussion. I have done an ALT Account, PC, just to test a few killers with basic perks (no, not trolling, not "smurfing" vs people with 20h, it's silly). I tried today many and many surv matches (purple rank) and im paired more than ever with ranks 18-20. When i use Killer, rank 12, i have usually correct ranks vs, sometimes even vs 18-17.

Was it swf? It seems to be matchmaking for the lowest survivor in the lobby lately.

I recently started collecting stats for my personal benefit since I doubt we will ever see them offered in game.
I have recorded 14 survivor games so far.
My info: Solo, Red Rank, PS4, US Eastern, Play time is between 8pm-2am est.
Wait time is usually 10+ minutes
The killer rank for those 14 games:
1- Rank 14
4-Rank 13
1-Rank 11
2-Rank 10
1- Rank 5
2-Rank 3
3- Rank 2
