Variablity in Skill Checks
I've thought about this for a little while but what do you guys think about it? What if there were more types of skill checks, like instead of a circle it could be a zigzag or some sort of line. Could spice up healing & repairing.

Why can't generator skillchecks open a tab with questions regarding engine repair and force you to correctly answer one before allowing you to tab back?
Healing can do the same but linked to a medical site for proper treatment of slashes and deep cuts!

Considering a lot of people barely know where to put gas in their cars, questions on engine repair would definitely solve the gen repair speed issue...LOL

When they introduced Doctor's reverse skill checks, my 1st thought was this should be a base mechanic, I wouldn't be opposed to varied skill checks.

I'm more for varied skill checks during gen repairs.
Lets be honest, repairing gens is the most boring thing about this game. It's why you want to be chased around a lot.
Having more varied skill checks that would make repairing generators more interesting would be a welcome change for me.

As a former EMT student I ought to be hitting greats every time for healing!
I'm sad I can't find this post but someone had an idea (maybe on reddit or this forum?) for unique skill checks depending on a survivors status effect. I.E. Hemorrhage would give a bloody, "underwater" skill check. (You're having trouble seeing what you're doing since you're bleeding to the point it's intruding your vision)
Oblivious would give a cloudy, blurry skill check. (Similar to the cloud when you're asleep from Freddy. You're mentally inhibited and unable to focus.)
Mangled would remove the great skill check zones. (Since you're so badly wounded dexterous actions are impossible.)
Blindness would trigger a faded out skill check.
Exhausted could trigger a dim skill check similar to blindness. Maybe the success zones move too. (Having trouble lifting your tools.)
