Escaping hooks

since when did it become so easy for survivors to get themselves off of the hooks? In the past 3 games i have watched 3 different people get themselves off and run free... isn't there enough stacked against the killers? New to the game just wasn't sure if this was the norm or not.

    Some of them could’ve had deliverance, if you notice a red outline with “+” on the survivor’s icon then it was deliverance. That or you just got unlucky and they also brought luck offerings.
