Why are other survivors blocking the exit switch?
I’ve been playing Dead By Daylight regularly for 8 months and noticed since like February that people keep holding the exit switch down until all 3 lights come on but will not finish opening the door. I do everything that I can in each match. I’ll pull someone off the hook twice, do at least two engines , open one chest, distract the killer for chase points, hit the killer with the pallet, but when that last engine is complete my ass is out like Scooby Doo... or at least I try to be until I make it to the exit and someone is standing in front of the exit switch with all three lights illuminating. Half of the time, I’ll make it to the door and see all three of the lights on and it’s ready to be opened, but someone left it this way. Why is everyone doing this suddenly and what is the purpose?

It counters a few perks if you wanna save friends and prolongs EGC. Its actually a strategy.
