Okay, did something break?

So I've been playing survivor for awhile now and I've noticed this weird lag issue and it's been causing some very insane phantom range which if you aren't familiar with the term phantom range is pretty much being hit from a mile away and it's pretty annoying and it's been very consistent.

An example of this I go over a pallet I'm already on the other side feet on the ground and have taken a good 2 to 3 steps forward and than BAM! I get clocked by the killer who is still on the other side of the pallet which is pretty annoying and another thing I've seen and this is very debatable maybe it's just how the game works etc etc but when I vault a window and I'm already on the other side same logic I get clocked and I know sure you could say he hit me threw the window but still I've had too many weird moments and this is 100% a lag issue and I've worse cases like just recently I vaulted over a window and ran a good distance before I was apparently pulled off the window I had previously vaulted over and I know you could say it's my connection but this has started happening since the update dropped and my connection is very solid for every other game I play... so yeah gotta ask did something break?

You either are unlucky with your killers or.... something is wrong. Try fixing your game files through steam

What do they call it.....I can't think of the name but when someone is hosting p2p it may look like a mile on ur screen but their screen is like 2 seconds faster so they could have caught up and it just looked stupid from ur POV lol

You are at the mercy of the host(killer) in a peer to peer connection, this combined with frame rate drops makes for phantom hits. Message the killer to hold off downloading his porn till after he is done playing or you will tell his mom.

Don't play matches with unstable ping, no matter how good it seems. If it's jumping/spiking, bail and find a new lobby.
