All non-licensed cosmetics should be available with shards.

When BHVR first introduced the cosmetic shop they said that 80% of cosmetics would be available with shards... now it feels more like 50% if even that... kinda disappointing.

I have 80k shards saved up at this point but every time an outfit comes out for a character I want its auric cells only. It just feels a bit greedy on BHVRs part that I already buy the game, it’s dlcs, the battlepass, and I can’t even use my earned currency to buy the cosmetics I want.

There’s enough licensed cosmetics at this point that are extremely popular, so I think making all non licensed cosmetics available with shards would be more than fair.

Disagree. Cosmetics are a good bit of funding for a long term game like this. You don't need cosmetics and there's actually a pretty large selection of free and shards cosmetics already. They are pretty generous with that as is. Most games aren't this generous.

Disagree on that one, even tho I was a little bit disappointed that 3 out of 3 Skins were available for Auric Cells only. But I prefer to have paid Cosmetics when in return the Chapters itself are quite cheap, which is the case for DBD.

Since you have 80k Shards, I guess you never spend them - but you could buy the non-licensed DLC-Characters with those Shards.

But what I hope for in the future - a time period where Outfits which are available for Auric Cells are available for Shards. This was done like 1 or 1 1/2 years ago and did not return. Would be nice to have something like that, maybe twice a year for a selection of original Character Cosmetics. The anniversary and Christmas would be good times, because they are roughly 6 months away from each other.

I don’t buy cosmetics, I’m not going to waste $13 CAD on something I stare at and dosent effect my game, on the other hand, I do buy characters and DLCs because they are cheap and they change my game

It’s not 80% tho, which is what they originally said it was going to be. And there are a lot of games I can think of that are more generous than DBD when it comes to paying for content.

Thing is, the game needs funds to continue bringing out new content. This is pretty much standard with all online games, even things like GTA V and the shark cards.

I do however believe that all re-colours/re-textures should be all be available with shards.

Well not every single piece should be purchasable with shards but it really seems like the amount of auric-only cosmetics increases.

i really wanted that red jacket for Adam.. and the new head for David. But I can live without them.

would be nice if they added recolors for shards like they did with Bunny-Feng

While we're at it, we should just make everything in the game free, because why would the company need to pay their employees with a game that's meant to get consistent updates and new content.

It doesn't work that way. This kind of suggestion goes hand in hand with the people begging for more stuff on the free rift line. No. The company has to make money somehow, and pay to wear cosmetics is apart of it. So show your Dev's some appreciation and buy that shirt.
