Hate to be the killjoy here, but the code name has nothing to do with the killer at all. This has been proven several times with the past killer code names. (Freddy was just a coincidence)

Well, hear me out, since they have proven it doesn't mean anything... wouldn't that be a good reason to suddenly change? I don't know. It isn't the most exciting but I was hoping Wales was a clue for my sleuthing. Not to mention Universal is trying to do a whole new iconic monster universe, seemed like a good enough cash grab. Well I would be happy with Jason, Pennywise, Pinhead, Candy Man, or Jeepers Creepers guy. I'd appreciate something lovecraftian at some point. I mean the entity itself is close but as a killer.
