DBD has to reinstall at every update
Is this normal?
Every time DBD has to update, it makes me reinstall the game completely. Every patch, everything. Just, every time there's an update.. is this normal? Why does it do this? I find it kinda funny but this time it says it's going to take a whole hour, whereas usually it takes around 6 minutes.

Id report it as a bug. It shouldnt do that. Maybe its something with your pc?

No, it definitely isn't normal. Maybe try uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it through steam.

Thats weird. My updates auto download while my steam is on. I dont even notice them.
Occasionally an update/patch will result in missing game files, so I have to go through the file verification process and reacquire whatever's missing. But never reinstall the whole game.

It only does it to DBD. So it's definitely not my pc..
See, rust just wants an update- DBD full on wants a reinstall.

I actually had to reinstall the game a few days ago because I messed up the icon files (Wanted ######### icons, then wanted to change them back because I got scared of being banned- realized I might have to reinstall so I did.) it didn't fix it, sadly.
Still gotta reinstall.

Also, it did fix the icons. I meant, it didn't fix the issue with it reinstalling every time it wants to update. Sorry my wording was confusing.
