Survivors Body Blocking the Gate, But Why?

Had this quite a few times recently and it’s infuriating. They open the gate almost completely and then body block so you can’t leave. Just had it now, 3 of us left in game when the gate was powered, one downed and in the process of getting morid so no reason not to leave. But no, this **** of a player won’t move from the gate, just pointing for me to go. NED is on, so it’s really not safe to mess around. I don’t get it? Why do survivors do this?!
Can we have a body blocking sorted please?
