I think most players are fine with this map, and many enjoy it and praise its balance. I personally think rng is too big of a decider for the map, but it's great otherwise.

Chapel is actually one of the more balanced maps- it isn't too big, the main building has definite counters and if you think the pallets there are safe then yikes. To balance it out its got Asylumn typical filler pallets (that is to say, one) and then about 4 jungle gyms/pallet gyms/t-l walls depending on rng, and a shack. It's actually a good map to get as either side and I'd use map offerings for it as killer (because coldwind, mothers Dwelling, and yamaoka need to rot) or as survivor (go away Gideon) if it wasn't for the risk of getting Disturbed Ward, which is ACTUALLY still an infinite if the killer gets bad rng.

WHICH pallets on the Main building are safe? Then basically every pallet on each map would be safe.

Uh. Its definitely not an infinite. A strong building with good RNG, yes, but definitely not an infinite. One of the few god windows that remain is on Mothers Dwelling.

Balanced? Hmm non really. There is a version i remember where in front of the chapel( the zombie horse side) there is only 1 generator, and this part of the map is so big, like 30% of the entire map. You basically cut off 1/3 of the map by doing that gen... In a small map like this is bad

this map is all about rng... people say it's balanced because it's small.. it's not exactly like that.. i can have a small map, but if that map sometimes spawn with some insane set up, that's not balanced.. i remember one time i had a safe pallet, with the main building window at the left, jungle gym window connected and another safe pallet on the right.. and just behind the jungle gym there was the shack... against a team of dead hard's and sprint burst...how fun and balanced is that bois?

You would have a point here if pre-Balanced Landing was still a thing: depending on window spawns for the upper and lower floors you used to be able to get some crazy setups.
But pre-nerf Balanced Landing isn't a thing anymore. Aside from when a particular god window spawns, the chapel itself isn't a very safe structure.

Those Pallets let Hawkins-Pallets look good in comparison. And we all know about Hawkins-Pallets.

Then the solution here is to not do that gen, and the map remains that large and you're gauranteed to not get gen locked.
