I personally only play killer because that is where I have fun but the problem with that is that if I perform poorly or just not play as the survivors want me to I get some lovely messages about how bad I am and how should stop playing the game this needs to stop I play on PS4 but I don’t know about other platforms I suggest giving killer the option to hide their profile to stop them from being harassed not sure if this happens survivor side but I know I certainly get a lot of messages

    If you really don't want to receive messages you can change this in the settings on your console. You can also mute messages. Or you just ignore them? Don't let others intimidate you too much.

    I turned off messages on my ps4...guess what? Not a single message received :) Life is better that way

    Turn off the messages for non-friends. I did the same after I played DbD for a while. Sadly, I had to do this only because of this one game. Very telling, but the DbD community doesn't have its reputation for no reason.

    And regarding your last question: It doesn't happen that often when you play surv, it's a completely different world compared to when you play killer.

    Private messages, but assuming you aren't tunneling and camping people id say laugh it up. I'd get people telling me I'm a tunneled camping killer when I didn't do such things. Had one person call me a tunneled because I continuously hooked everyone back to back. Like... Okay that's not tunneling sir,😂. Then when they say they're reporting you for it. It's beautiful
