For all they seemed to do negatively towards survivors...I haven't really noticed a difference in my games. So I don't think they really affected gameplay much...

Some “nerfed” maps are actually still disgusting. The Rancid Abbatoir loop in the slaughterhouse is insane.

Good survivors are still doing just fine

How?

On the contrary, them even announcing that caused rejoicement

They replaced a lot of tiles in Ormond with those boulder ones... which are way better for survivors! You can see over them, so the killer can't mind game them.

I looped a Rank 1 Billy there for 2 minutes lol. The 2 windows are insanely good for looping.

I don't see these mysterious dead zones, though. On the junkyard maps, there are more open spots near the edges of the map, but that's about it, and normally, they don't affect chases.

Well it's not like they could say it before

If you’re a good survivor this change hardly affected you as you would have not relied on infinite’s to save you
6 -
And despite all these killer sided buffs, there is still hardly anyone playing killer. Sounds to me like they havent fixed the real issues yet.
5 -
Exactly. Queue times are any better at all-if anything these changes weren’t convincing enough to the killer community to endure the stress related to the killer role.
8 -
I really haven’t noticed much difference in my survivor games, but then I never humped the windows they removed or used commodious toolboxes before the changes.

I'm starting to sound like a broken record at this point but...you know this how?

Are you joking? Remember freddy? I do. Survivors ran the show for 3 years. Its about time we take the crown away from them.

That bridge has been burned a long time ago bro. The toxicity of survivors on this game has been unreal ever since the filthy spawn of ochido and his virgin fans.
5 -
And yet, nothing really changed in terms of looping capability, and chase length.
There's just happens to be, 2-3 less loops in a map.
Nor did getting gens done quickly change either.
Crazy how that works.

Pretty much. Survivor mains can say killer has been getting a lot of buffs lately but it's just shows how survivor sided the game is. If killer is oh so powerful how come most people are playing survivor?
3 -
When are we going to remove Corn and Bamboo? Both need to get out of our video game. Give me a perk that lets me eat them, anything. I just want to be able to see
1 -
You can't play with your friends as killer.

Devs have confirmed multiple times that NOTHING was changed on Ormond, so the "pallet free dead zones on Ormond" thing is a myth. In fact, other than one map (Crotus Prenn Disturbed Ward) where they removed 2 pallets so the central building has 2 instead of 4 each game... they didn't change any pallets either. They literally only changed god loops and people are seeing changes that don't exist. These map spawns were always possible, you're just thinking they're something new every time the game rolls a bad config for survs, but forgetting it when it rolls a good one for survs. If you can show an example of a "pallet free dead zone" on a map we know had pallet spawning logic changed, I might agree, but most maps didn't have pallet or jungle gym changes, just infinite ones.

Based on the information that survivor queue's take longer than killer, you can safely assume there is not a 4:1 ratio of survivors to killers.
That said, I'd love to see BHVR's data on game statistics. But I doubt they're going to share that any time soon. And if/when they do, it'll be so outdated it's useless.

These changes didn't really do much
2 -
Well the devs did address the fact that high ranked survivors are being matched with low ranked killers because both bugs, aswell as that after a few minutes of searching, the rank range increases, which is because there aren't enough red rank killers.
As from personal experience, I find a killer match instantly, literally not figuratively, while it takes me 5-10 minutes to find a match as a survivor.

As a solo survivor I'm still consistently in games that end with 3 or 4 kills. And as a killer I'm still consistently getting 3 or 4 kills.
Unfortunately for many of you, no patch is going to directly buff YOU if you're bad at killer. There's large chunks of maps where the survivors' only defense is to try to 360.
In a recent match I was able to dodge 3 of a Legion's attacks to stall long enough to make it to a pallet. Then when he downed me with NOED I got face camped and the other 3 survivors made it out. Sorry, but if you're gonna miss 3 attacks in a wide open field then there's not much that's gonna help you. Blaming the devs/balance/swf/survivor boogeyman is easier on the ego, though.

theres never been evidence of this. matchmaking has been schizzo and busted since gf release. Speaking for myself imbalance has had nothing to do with me mostly dropping killer, I just got bored of the game loop. Im sure many others feel the same

The reason kill rates are still high is because matchmaking is #########. Everyone is boosted as ######### in ranks now, it's dumb as #########. I hate playing against a trash team and seeing they're all bloody red ranks, as if dying in 10s is worthy.

No bias here guys 😂
