I don't think people blame other players for playing with their friends, or even for using discord.
I think people blame BHVR for not balancing perks with SWF w/ voice chat in mind.

I had a post and video of survivors who at end game were convincing themselves they had not used comms to gain an advantage.
Yet, remove the silence and initial early game chat and they were calling things out that no solo survivor would ever be able to know.
One moment had the survivor shocked when the killer downed a survivor whilst being healed by them as nobody had called it out.
