I do feel better!
I tried the Beta and it was just....really really boring. As survivors it was boring, as Mastermind it was boring, it was just plain boring.
I've heard that the game is also insanely impossible to get in as The Mastermind so I'm kind of glad that the Beta did so little to sell me on it. Although I guess if the mode was better, maybe it would have actual people playing it...

I played it today after a 3 week break.
Lost nearly every survivor game.
Lost every Mastermind Game.(after waiting 10 minutes for a lobby)
Clearly fun experience, if you haven't unlocked the useful stuff.
The game itself is fine, but suffers from non existant matchmaking and horrible balancing issues.

Doesn't help that the survivors are so overpowered in that game that the only viable option is to play turret spencer. Let's nerf that but not the completely invincible tank survivors who can literally stand there getting melee'd by the bio-weapons and not care, permanent stunlocks, or the jill rocket launcher on like a 2 minute cooldown that clears out 8+ zombies at a time or basically 1 shots the bio-cores. Actually, let's just give the mastermind a rocket launcher now too.

It's funny how people told me that the Mastermind is the "Bully Simulator" of the game back w hen it first came out.
Just goes to show how little most people outside these communities know about the Asymm Genre, huh?

Friday the 13th was great, they just lost the ability to update the game because of getting slapped by legal.... too bad, because it really was fun to play. There are just so many cheaters on the game now, kinda hard to enjoy without a full friends group.

Resistance is a great game. It just takes time to play. I bet you didnt have fun as a level 1 survivor or killer? Way less toxic then dbd aswell. Not to mention masterminds are actually powerful and dont get destroyed by some jogger with a flashlight
