Is this an unpopular opinion?

After the map changes, I've realized that I enjoy them a little bit. I think they were good changes but I don't want every map exactly like the others. I don't want every map to be small and even. I want a map where I have to try. I would just like if we kept a survivor sided map and a killer sided map, to throw in some spice.



Also the new purgation map feels super small. Id it just me?

    I see what you mean and I don’t want it to be same either like a good amount of discrepancies between them I think is good. As long as they keep their personality in the maps I really do love the changes but I disagree on sidedness. I love killer more but I play both sides 50/50 and I just think it’s messed up certain maps can be more sides for one or the other. As a red rank in both I don’t want to see the map or offering and go ok we are going to lose I think it should be fair on both sides. Only time I think opposite to this is if a particular killer or type of killer or type of perk or survivor is sided on a map rather than everyone such as maybe a map is really good for balanced landing or something like a stealth killer is good on in side maps. I just don’t believe a map should be too large though as some are where the killer just can’t do his basic job.

    I have to agree with you here. If all maps are eventually gonna become small and with many unsafe pallets/loops, then nah.

    I'm in complete agreence that some maps should simply remain survivor/killer favoured - Having a little spice makes the game more fun. No killer should be entitled to a 4K every single game, and no survivor should be entitled to an easy escape every game. There needs to be a twist.

    At first, I saw the map changes as good, with the removal of most infinites. But now? I really can't help but see the map updates as more killer sided instead of balanced. For example, wide-open doors directly next to window vaults? That's ... Stupid. And even while playing as a killer myself, it just feels too unfair. At least make breakable doors a certain distance from the window, instead of wide-open-right-next-to-window.
