big big fps drps
hello everyone iam having realy big fps drops these days i tried with nvidia and amd too but both haves the fps drops its a really big fps drop ts like my screen freezs and then my fps goes to 30 it happens when iam getting bloodlust 1 for the first time and etc i have tried to uncap fps and disable vsync and putt my fps to 75 (to remove fps drop ) but nothing worked i tried with my rx 580 8gb gaming and my gtx 1060 ti

Issue since a solid year for other people. I think console had this issue since release?
Bhvr doesn't care. We are still waiting for the promised optimisation of 2018.

Optimisation is an on-going issue that the devs are trying to work on.
There is a designated section of the forums (found hyperlinked here) for these reports- please head over there and submit detailed (or as much detail as you can manage) of these issues, including your specs (like you did here :D)
For example, "fps drops" isn't all too descriptive, whilst "framerate tanks when gaining a level of bloodlust. Sometimes the screen freezes altogether. I play on..." etc.
The more detail you can provide, the easier the devs can replicate and fix the issues.
I hope you get this sorted (since this game's been poorly optimised for a while).

I mean, whats the deal of them saying something at this point? They already told us to do optimisation but we haven't seen much yet. In fact, the performance gets worse and worse. Besides the stupid decision of bhvr to remove ini modifications to make the game more playable with better perfomance.
Bhvr is just playing with us. With our optimism thinking things will change. But they just buy themselves time with these statements so we continue buying DLCs and cosmetics. And once the community is sick of it and stops supporting... They just drop dbd and work on a new project.

The give that in lots of detail- "Through the majority of the match, my framerate is bad. I use [specs]. A few cases I've noted are [specific large fps drops, such as like op said when getting bloodlust, or another common one is the spirit's halloween skin).

Yup. Few times a day it tanks. Doesnt matter map, killer, situation. Xbox here same issue
