Thoughts on the game after 6 months of playing

Hello, I've started playing DbD around november, october 2019 because I saw it on steam and concept sounded cool so I decided to give this game a try.Praise where it's due first impressions of the game were godlike for me, the idea that you could play a match which is like 80's B movie slasher where one side is really strong and oppressive while the other is weak and trying to survive the odds.Being a complete scrub made the game that much better for me and actually scary. I know right?

Of course I poured some money into it, because I wanted to try out some of the killers and funny survivor perks., which now looking back I'm regretting tbh.

After playing both sides in about equal measure, there is TWO major issues I have with the game, hitboxes and all of that aside, I never really got tilted that much by them, because I think playing this game competitive is ridiculous.

It's that the trials are just too quick, and often end up one side dominating the other, with rarely balanced and genuine fun games.(noed, mori's, key's, meta builds etc)

Other one which is much bigger flaw is the fact that killer is just kind of weak,not nearly enough fun to play, which again you can tilt into your favor by using strong addons and mori's. I'm not a pro or anything, just average player expressing his concerns over the game I really like and wish the problems would be addressed instead of adding more toxic skins like bunny outfits to annoy the rest of scarce killer population atm. I'm probably a minority of players who actually likes playing against scratched mirror Myers or Ghostface on lery's or hawkings because it's actually tense, spooky and made me jump several times.

Make killer fun and actually scary to go against instead of being a complete joke, and it will make the game actually fit into 'horror' category, which is number 1 reason I bought the game in the first place because I'm a huge horror movie and horror game nerd.

I will be taking a break from the game for the time, and maybe come back to it, because I really want it to be greater than it is at the moment. Thank you for reading my rant about the game, even though it won't do anything.
