How does demogorgon get blinded?

There's secretly two tiny eye holes.

Doesn't he sense his surroundings using light? I recall someone telling me that.

The Entity's conditions rule its realm thus allowing flashlights to blind every killer equally.

I think he should be immune to that just to make sense. He’s already immune to meaningful blinds anyway so it wouldn’t be bad for balance. Flashlight saves against him is impossible after all. And if you blind him at a pallet you just get whooped by his ranged.

Actually if a survivor isn't tormented flashlight saves are still very possible, and blinding at a pallet can save a lot of time. Particularly with the limited range and width of his Punishment, I'd definitely say to keep it.
Plus, it allows for consistency between killers and doesn't make Lightborne worse than it already is.

You could also ask how Pyramid Head is able to see.
His head is covered in M E T A L.

He has magic eyes that allows him to see through his helmet.

PH cannonically can see light just fine through his helmet. It's most likely the helmet is literally his head because of whacky Silent Hill Symbolism bending normal biological rules and anatomy. We know he can see light because when he first appears he literally gets a flash light shined at his face and he react with an overt reaction at "Like what the hell is this"" in sh2.

You mean adding even more gameplay privileges than he already have ?

It's a video game. 'nuff said.

Nurse has a pillow case/face covering
Demo-goodboy has no eyes
Pyramid head has a big shinny helmet
Hag has no eyeba- oh wait....Hags don't blind =)

Realism is sacrificed for the sake of balance.

You mean hiding in a locker doesn't heal my emotional scars (Q.Q )

Pyramid Head is not a human wearing a pyramid helmet, he is a supernatural being from a realm in Silent Hill. In other words, that pyramid is quite literally his head and has "eyes" of its own.

I mean, the Nurse overall suffers from lightburns. Plus, plastic bags and fiber aren't really good protections against strong beams of light.
I think Demo cannonically doesn't like light. So it's technically makes sense why he suffers from it.
Wait, are you sure the Hag doesn't have eyeballs? Aren't they just tiny and black??

I mean if you're gonna ask that then why do blinds force killers to drop survivors at all? Why can't killers just close their eyes?
Oh yeah, it's a video game. Lorewise, everyone plays by the Entity's rules.

Pretty sure they are gone as her body is essentially a dehydrated skin skeleton....could be wrong though.
As for Nurse the "light burns" would only make sense if they affected her whole body (like Wraith) and some of her skins have bigger/thicker material than plastic bags.
Demo-goodboy not liking light is different from it blinding him....honestly him being able to see at all is odd.
I mean this is an argument about space oranges honestly but still fun to poke my stick at.
