Any info on disconnect bans?

I was wondering, I still see people disconnect in my games from time to time (I myself do so too when beyond annoyed with my team) but what I was thinking was how the disconnect time out lowers and rises. Does it rise every time you disconnect? Or within a certain windowframe between a certain amount of games? How does it lower if at all? If anybody knows I'd like to have a little of that insight!

    The penalty stacks (something like 5 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, etc.) for each successive disconnect, and they decay at some rate that I have no clue about.

    Yeah people dont care. This guy was on death hook, injured and tried for a head on which he missed. Played stupid the whole game. Then dc'd carrying him to the hook

    I normally dont send messages, I thought maybe goading him a little would make him think more about what hes doing
