What’s the point of the basemebt and why is it in the game?
Btw, second game in the row where a ######### Huntress wins my team just for camping the ######### piece if ######### basement. And neesless to say I have no controll over that. I escaped the second game though by narniaing the killer (hopping into the locker in front of him and DC-ing at 0 hooks).
I know it was originally implemented because hooks were permanently sabotagabl, but it’s just as outdated as flashlights being godlike against Wraith/Hag.
How about having more hooks and closer to each other than a ######### basement in every single map?
Before anyone bitching on me for the Narnia tech, I was already injured, all 3 survivors was in the basement hook, and the asswipe didn’t stop camping the stairs.

Well basement is for the survivors having to spend more time while going to a dangerous area in which they can be downed quickly. If your team all died to a camper, then that means either the killer was extremely efficient in chases and the survivors were poor at gens, or the survivors tried to make a basement save.

He was trash at chases. 3 Gens popped during the only chase he had. The other downs he got was from camping of course which takes no skill especially when you’re throving mini buses around.

The basement is meant to be a strong area for the killer to defend hooks. It's fine as outside of dedicated basement builds getting survivors into the basement isn't always easy unless the survivor goes down near the basement.

The basement is your punishment for trying to get better at looping the shack.
6 -
And yet you and your team rewarded it. From what I see he deserved the 4k because yous granted her it.

I don’t feel like the such bullshit area is needed in the videogame tbh.

Clean your glasses than. He still didn’t got me though.

Love the logich though of me being responsible for the deffeat of my team of randoms against a trash no skilled camper. Really inteli...ignorant.

Next time, don't feed. If you were injured in a locker and she was, as you claim, camping the basement stairs, then that means you were there as well, feeding the camper.
PS: If you DC'd, you didn't "escape", you lost. Let's not mince words.

This explains why he basement camped. If 3 gens pop when you finish your first chase youre WAY behind as killer.

Don't mind me, just grabbing some of all this salt for my fries

I'm just here to watch the self destruct. Always happens. Especially when OP complains about something no one else seems to have a problem with. As you can see now, they are arguing with everyone that disagrees with them.
Good times.

The guy replied to his own comment to bash...himself.

Okay than enjoy being basement camped if you have no problem with that.
About your other point, I really don’t care about other’s bullshit when they cleary main killer blockeads with zero empaty thowards the other side.
Just tought to I put this here as an other example of how ######### solo survivor experience is that you obviusly can’t know.

You disconnected, so you lost, and he gets both bloodpoints and points in the emblem system related to hooks.
So he didn't physically get a 4k, but he's rewarded as if he did. No need to waste my time cleaning.

You weren't basement camped, someone else was. You simply fed the camper.
I'm a rank 5 survivor main (rank 11 killer) and I have no sympathy for feeders. Stop feeding campers, punish them for it. This Huntress learned an important lesson thanks to you: survivors will feed campers.
1 -
Yes! Because the guy is pissed at the moment. You don’t need an university degree to diagnose that.

Go back to LoL my friend. You don’t know what you’re saying.

So you reply to your own comment and rage at yourself while calling yourself ignorant?

I play killer more than survivor. It’s a depip 100%. 3 Hooks at total and even camping them. Noone walked out with anything thus it was a pointless match for all.
0 -
Yup. Almost makes you wish you'd finished those gens and escaped instead, huh?

Bubba
they were planning ahead

It's a lore-based structure. It's meant to be a strong area to defend hooks. I even saw old loading screen tips that encouraged multi-trapping the entry points to make the unhook more difficult.
Imo, it's the exact equivalent for killer of the old god windows for survivors. Outdated structures that lead to very one-dimensional and stale gameplay.
2 -
I mean your post describes exactly why basement is there and how it still works out very well
2 -
I'm aware you'd depip off that, yet that's disconnect could've got him a safety pip because he had two quick chases, and ended the game with two generators.

Well I see my alternative over all healthier for the game than having such an easily abusable structure. It is just an other hook indeed. As long as the killer is not trash and camps it.

The basement exists to imperil the survivors, and create an advantage scenario for the killer that the survivors must coordinate in order to overcome.
0 -
He depipped with less than 9k points. Not like I care about that, but don’t try to make it look better than it is fot whatever stupid reason.
0 -
Depends on his rank. What rank was he may I ask.

ngl, camping is obnoxious, not a fan personally, randos can be trash, every pretty much thinks so. Problem is like, don't go for basement saves? Killer's option really is to get one survivor hooked every two gens basically so unless he tunnels he practically just walks away with one kill and depending on his rank will depip.

Red like everyone else. Makes me wonder how red rank survivors get caughed by a camper so easily though. No wonder why the many SWF. Time to join my SWAT squad and be part of the probem.
0 -
Then yes he did depip. Also play the way you want. If you want to play with your friends with your main goal to be toxic, then go do that.

Getting caged before the release of SH is not fair dear mods.

As a survivor I hate the basement with a passion, but that's no reason to take it out of the game. You DO have control of whether or not you are camped in the basement. The map always spawns the basement in one or two spots. Learn them and stay away from those spawn points.
And keep the killer potentially having Iron Grip and Agitation in mind if they are going for a basement build. Another strategy I've seen killers use is to carry you as close to the basement as possible until you struggle off their shoulder and then they try to down you closer to the basement so they can make it the second time around. Don't fall for that. As soon as the killer drops you run in a straight line as far from the basement as possible. Do not attempt to loop the killer in the area and watch out for traps from Trapper or Hag since they are strongest in the basement.
Perks like Kindred and Dead Hard are some of the better perks for avoiding the basement.

If he was able to get a 4k by camping then that’s you and your team’s fault
