Pls help am baby
Hello, so I would first like to state that I am on PS4 and have reported the issue where I need to and all that fun stuff, now, I was wondering if anyone possibly has any suggestions as to how I could fix my problem.
So, ever since the map changes I have been having this strange...thing where my game will randomly like, lose connection, now I at first assumed it was a connection issue, but the strange thing is there is no prior lag at all.
So what'll happen is (for example) I'd be chasing a survivor and then suddenly they'd continue running in a complete straight line, and ignore any hits (aka, no health state changes) although they would scream as if they were hit.
This usually last for about ten seconds before I'm disconnected. It happens so often that I'm now up to at least a six hour ban for matchmaking, and I really don't want to hit whatever is next, so I was throwing this out to see if anyone can help.
If what I'm saying doesn't make sense, please do say so, and I can supply you with a clip of it happening.

Sounds like connection issues. What happens after the disconnect - do you get an error message or anything like that?

Your best be is probably getting an answer from support. https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us But I doubt that will help with this issue or your ban. Edit: Are you using wired connection?

Best way to get a video on the forums is to upload it to Youtube then post the link and it should automatically have the video ready to play.

I Had a similar problem a couple weeks ago where my intenet would "hiccup". My internet would disconnect for like 10-60 sec every so often but would quickly reconnect like nothing happened. At one point I was 1 hr and 30 mins on penalty it was very frustrating.
I would make sure to check if it's ur internet. Does ur internet do that when ur on You Tube or browsing on your phone or tablet? Or is it when you only play DBD?

In that case, the first step would probably be to check that your network is stable as @monster89 suggested, because it's possible the answer could simply be that your internet is cutting out.

Usually, when my connection is weak I get the weird arrow spin thing in the corner, and recently I've had no notable matches with that...arrow thing.
I'm incredible at explaining things, I know. I used someone else's suggestion last night, and that was to delete and redownload the game, hoping it works out with something that simple.

Yeah don't worry, I understand what you're talking about. Hopefully that will fix it, then. If not, I'd recommend posting in the Technical Issues subforum (https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/technical-issues) where you're more likely to find someone who knows what's going on, and/or share your experience in this thread, since it could be part of a wider problem with people being randomly disconnected for no reason that the devs are trying to find a solution to at the moment: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/152610/need-community-help-random-disconnect-in-game
