Custom perk icons
Are they bannable? I'm tired of seeing the same color perks, saw some really good ones but I just want to know if they are bannable or not

i'm using custom icons atm, i installed custom icons in 2019 and i never got a ban, Devs always say that EAC could ban you but the possibility of that is very low i think you don't have to worry about that, just don't mess with others file

I see a decent amount of streamers get away with it. It's nothing but a neat lil cosmetic change, so you wouldn't think they'd be too upset over it.

Is this something done on PC. It sounds neat. That would be neat if fans could submit different ideas and the player could change them all legally from the game. Some perks icons I think are ugly and wouldnt mind options to change on Switch.

No one has ever been banned for using custom icons and someone actually emailed EAC directly and they said they won't ban for png files. They only watch out for game altering files.

Many people use custom icons, among them are popular streamers. None got banned for it. I used custom icons for like 3 years and still do.

BHVR wont ban you, EAC might, do so at your own risk.

The devs have always said changing icons is a use at your own risk.
Yes many have done so for a long time and nothing has happened but that doesn't mean one day that won't change.

Our official line on this, is that anything you change is done at your own risk. Whilst EAC might not check those files today, there's no saying whether those files will get flagged in the future. And whilst we don't actively ban people for this, if you get an automatic ban from EAC we cannot unban you.

Thank you everyone!!, I'm scared and I don't want to do it anymore (because I just bought all dlc again but now on pc) but hopefully this thread helps people that want to do it but are not informed like me!
