Fix?
Can we do something about DS and BT? Ruin was nerf because it was overused so why not fix these? I know D's is a anti tunnel perk but if I chase someone else and hook them or if that person if fully healed before the minute pass up they should not be able to still have D's. It even feels like it encourages some players to be cocky an careless since they are safe for that minute, BT just gets annoying when people run up to the killers face an can't do much. If your going to nerf killer perks for reasons or have some type of downside to it why not the other side? I know I'm not the first to mention this. On that note can we remove auto aim from killers or make it a option to be turn off because I'm tired of swinging and having to hit a wall or hook due to auto aim.

DS is a second chance perk though, I guess it's fine for its category, if it was designed against tunnelling, sure you could argue it's broken, even though I wouldn't agree even then, but as a second chance perk, DS is fine. BT imo is very good, but definitely balanced since the killer could easily kill the unhooker.

If I hook other people or if the obsession is fully healed and even if they work on a gen for 20 seconds or so it should not still be active since you aren't tunnel. An it's so easy for a free escape during endgame if they are saved or use delivernce and the fact that ruin was nerf for being overused an not the survivor side for the same reason is even more laughable.

It was just explained to you that DS is not an Anti-Tunnel Perk. It was not designed with that in mind, but the community labelled it as an Anti-Tunnel Perk. Also, Ruin was indeed overused, and far more than DS. If I remember correctly, Ruin was used in 80% of the games in Red Ranks. DS is used like 35-45%, at least this is what I read when I look at the statistics some people take themselves and provide on the Forum.
This is not compareable.
Also, Ruin was also reworked because it was a Perk which was just used without any thought - basically the first thing to do when creating a Build is putting Ruin on. And it did not even do that much in high Ranks, but completely destroyed low Ranks. And I can totally understand that a low Rank Survivor will struggle with Ruin Skill Checks and will be demotivated if the Killer brings PGTW as well. For high Ranks this might have been the Norm, but for low Ranks, if someone struggles to hit the Skill Checks and the Progress is kicked away...

At the end of the day no one can deny the amount of BS that the perk can do and how annoying an unfun it is. It just sucks having to chase another survivors or have that person fully healed working on gens an still be able to use the perk. And you can't tell me DS is not overused and used as a crutch for most people.
