New Chapter on console
So, tomorrow is the day for PTB to go live. Being a console player, I will only be able to watch others play it, gathering as many info as I can that way only, which is pretty sad. But my question is, will there be a delay between PC and console release of the DLC? If so, which I hope not (but I can bet the answer will be yes), how long does it generally take?

If it is not released the same day as pc then I will say a week at the most because this upcoming chapter is not a massive update like the curtain call chapter.7

Still I'm not gonna hold my breath while I wait on it lolIceman said:If it is not released the same day as pc then I will say a week at the most because this upcoming chapter is not a massive update like the curtain call chapter.3 -

I am saving my BPs for Kuchisake-Onna, because I think I might like her... But the (videos from the people playing) PTB will hold all of the answers I need about that.

Since I'm on ps4 I dont expect to see the DLC available to me until 2019 because that's just how it works ....lol5

I don't care when it comes, unless i see something awesome from either character.

I said to myself, that if the killer would look cool enough (by my own expectations), I would main him/her.
And I hope there won't be any delay for Xbox.1 -
It will release same day.. we just won't be able to buy it. Then they'll push a fix for that but we won't be able to select the new characters in the menu. Then they'll push a fix for that and the servers will crash. Then they'll push a fix for that and we'll all be dead from natural causes because it's 2193.9

What console are you on? And if it is Kuchisake-Onna or inspired by her it would be scary if she have long black hair in front of her face. That would freak me out. It is already bad enough that I jump when a teammate flash the flashlight at me out of no where.Damarus said:@Iceman said:

As the past is the only way to predict the future... We can assume it is going to be a HUGE problem and console will get it 3-4 weeks later.

I’m not expecting the new killer on console to release at the same time as PC. I’m expecting a Halloween release date for console (just so I don’t get super excited). Always gotta expect the worst so then you can’t be disappointed especially with BHVR!0

October probably.

We'll most likely get it 2 weeks from tomorrow.
The PTB is usually 1 week long, then they'll release it on PC officially. So 2 weeks from tomorrow we should have it.
I'll be buying the killer more than likely with shards this time... unless the exclusive cosmetic is great.

It looks like their schedule is:
Chapter Release
6 weeks later mid Chapter balance
7 weeks later new ChapterSo September 11 for PC.

If it truly turns out to be Kuchisake, I doubt she'll have hair covering her face, it would be too similar to Samara Morgan from The Ring, possibly even denying her as an eventual new killer.

Console will get it right on time, right along with PC. Of course, there will probably be game-breaking bugs, connection issues, or PSN will probably go out like always, but you'll still get it on time.

Gameplay-wise, yes. But yours isn't a useful answer at all.meshugganah said:Damarus said:So, tomorrow is the day for PTB to go live. Well the curtain call dlc took 2 weeks after pc full release so 4 weeks in all including ptb but that was because it had to get certification done and took longer because of the big update including the store so my guess would be up to a week after pc gets it idk about ps4 because it took them like 4 weeks or 5 to get there but it might be different this time like how the pig came out on Xbox before it came out on pcDamarus said:So, tomorrow is the day for PTB to go live. Both consoles have “same day patch certification” options. Hopefully this patch can utilize that option. I know we couldn’t have it that way last time because of the addition of the new in-game store, which console likes to thoroughly vet before patching through.Orti said:They sould be alble to get a same release for ps4 but not sure if microsoft has a service like that too
