Can get banned by using SAM ?

Hello , i have a big problem..... Somebody hacked my profile account and unlocked some achivments, i see that in the morning, i changed my password and e-mail adress , but i don't know if this thing is bannable , i really don't what a ban on this game ! The ammount of achivments isn't big , is like 1 or 2 but i'm affraid!

    since you didn't do anything wrong I doubt you'll be banned

    Personally I've never heard of anyone being banned for using Steam Achievement Manager so you should be fine. Also you can use SAM to lock achievements so if you want to earn that achievement legit then feel free to lock it.

    People have been banned for using SAM, but I think they stopped that.

    People were banned for using SAM to change their ranks but i heard Steam stepped in and told behavior to stop as at the time there was a bug with achievements im not so sure now if they ban for it or not.

    I know you can get banned for using SAM since one of my friends used it for the Evil Incarnate achievement. I don't know if he changed ranks as well, only the EI one, but he got banned.

    Honestly good riddance.

    My rank isn't changed a bit ! I was just scared when i was seeing new achivment on my profile!

    If it's done I'd leave it and keep your fingers crossed. Steam can ban for third party programs that cheat either their systems or game systems, as well as BHVR if they see fit. Just don't mess with it further.

    I've faced way a lot of people (and I still find) who had all the archievements unlocked at the same day and second, so I doubt you get banned

    What kind of person hacks into an account of someone and unlocks just 1 achievement?

    Handyman out of all of them even.

    i see quick , like 30 minutes, and changed all my stuff on steam , e-mail and password ! And i dunno why did that , i had like 80 generators made and i was complete the achivment , maybe he didn't want have a ban on the game , and i think that's the reason why he didn't unlocked all achivments!
