Blood web grind rework ideas

Devs like to make small changes that they can monitor and adjust as needed, what about:

1) Just reduce the cost per item by like 1K BPs?

2) In later blood webs have the entity not consume 2 outta 4 perks but allow you to get 3 each time?

3) Ability to "turn off" certain perks (until they can be reworked) so they don't show up in the web (or show up last).

I also like the idea I saw someone else bring up another thread of when you P3 a character all teachable perks that you have unlocked are immediately applied to your character at tier 3

I don't want addons to be cheaper because nobody wants to go up against a fully kitted out Doctor or Huntress every game, or run into Ebony Mori's or Keys constantly. Hell I don't even want to go up against a Medkit with Gel dressings every game.

I think the best options is to just remove tiers of perks. Every perk is at Tier 3 when you find it. Not only will this reduce the frustration and grind in the blood web without making rare addons more common, it will make it easier for BVHR to design new perks and rebalance old perks since you don't have to make 3 versions of every perk in the game.

I think the bloodweb progression is genius. Never had a big problem with it/wanted it to change, because playing without some perks is okay in this game. Maybe it gets worse in higher ranks, but for the most part, you can live if you play with 0 perks.

But if I were to suggest an idea to make it less arduous, I think maybe prestige and or devotion should offer a small permanent bloodpoint multiplier, that can stack. Bloody cosmetics are cool, but it does feel like resetting your progress for little reason and not much else.

Having a small chance to get a bloodweb with only perks would also be cool

@JasonS I see your point and I agree.

Perhaps just removing perk tiers is the answer, there are already so many in game that if you managed to run out before you get to 50 you just get add ons and offerings.

Just eliminate tiers for perks. The differences are pretty negligible anyway.

Although removing tiers for perks would be a good change, there are some perks which I would prefer to have at Tier 1.

Discordance, for one, is hella annoying at T3.

Make Your Choice too, is something that I use with my Nemesis/Furtive/MYC/PGTW build, I much prefer a shorter cool down because with this build, you get downs pretty fast, there isn’t a need for a whole minute to chase the survivor.

There are a few others, but the post might get a bit long if I list the rest.

Maybe there should be changeable values with different perks based on preference. The MYC time, the discordance notification frequency, etc.
