Connection between the DBD lore and the *very real* interdimensional Flyer predators
If you are not familiar with Carlos Castaneda's books, you will think this is science fiction and conspiracy theories, please stop reading then
In his last book (English version to download here: https://gofile.io/d/Rk8CH6), chapter "Mud Shadows" you can read on the existence of interdimensional Flyer predators (often called Archons, but there is a full ecosystem of other entities as well hard to classify) that existed within the beginning of humanity, in order to make our mind their mind, by hacking it with painful thoughts/emotions, in order to be fed by our light/energy.
DBD is undoubtedly a Satanic illuminati game (inverted pentagram without lines, sacrifices, kills, offerings, etc, etc, etc) that draws the Entity very accurately as these Flyer predators, and they even have a narrative girl (dont remember the name) expert in leading the story line. Dont get me wrong, I dont think the devs are into all of this, maybe not even Mr. Cote, but for sure his bosses are well-aware.
Ok but why? to keep feeding the entities with the frustration as killer is created, accepting is OK to kill, or by virtually sending your soul when you are sacrificed on hook. We may not understand the real subtle meaning of playing DBD, but surely it has an impact in the light these Flyer predators absorb, and how these infect us interfering in our peace and daily life. On the other hand, DBD bosses are following the satanic illuminati agenda, and the Pyramid Head is so satanic btw, in this year 2020 that we got massively controlled towards a NWO already established.
Being aware of these entities with discipline, and probably with some nice spiritual tools (e.g. Zen, Christianism isnt much), will make your life better keeping entities a bit away not so obsessed with us, and perhaps the impact of playing DBD will be lessen, or even you will decide to quit.
Any constructive discussion other than "you are crazy" or "conspiracy theories" is welcome, and yes @DBD, not everyone is sleeping in this matrix~~

yup shamans discovered these entities by the use of drugs, and it is possible but too risky I guess
In Zen buddhism they also know exist but avoid telling so, instead they say "inmo butsu" (where in thell does this what the hell thing came from", in order to describe how one should accept everything, including the harmful spam these entities hack into our mind or conflicts induced with others

See I don't know about Zen buddhism or shamanism enough to contribute to this forbidden discussion. The only thing I can confidently say is any religion or belief can be considered fiction without doubts on the internet, but that's just what happens. That does not mean it is false or true; it depends on you to believe it.
