Dbd players, what are your favourite music artists?
You don't have to pick a definitive favourite, but which artists do you like? My favourite artists are swans, neutral milk hotel, mount eerie, radiohead, godspeed you! black emperor, my chemical romance, oneotrix point never, tim hecker, father john misty, a tribe called quest, nas, MF Doom, the microphones, digable planets and many more! What are yours?

My absolute favourite has been Children of Bodom ever since their first album. I mostly listen to metal bands like Dream Theater, In Flames, Soilwork, Slipknot etc. but I also really much enjoy hardstyle like Headhunterz and Brennan Heart.

Children of bodom are amazing, I love some of their albums. Of course I love dream theater, metropolois part 2 and a dramatic turn of events are absolutely thrilling.

Not really a fan of those bands. Imagine dragons is pretty annoying with their pitch shifts, Avicii sounds like generic edm, I haven't listened to the fat rat though. I can see why you like those artists though.

I like depeche mode as they inspired some great new wave bands, metallica are one of my favourite metal bands because of master of puppets and ride the lightning, I personally think Nirvana are overrated.

If we are talking music bands, the very most favourite one would be Linkin Park. It's one of those bands, who has no song that I wouldn't like. I've been listening to the since 2014 and kinda sad that I never got to go to their concert. Hearing Chester and Mike live would be the best thing ever. Unfortunately. it won't happen ever again.
My second favourite band should be twenty one pilots - the only band, which concert I've been to and it was a blast. I absolutely love their unique alternative sound, which mixes bunch of the elements from different music genres. The third favourite is Russian horror-punk band called Korol i Shut - I absolutely love all their songs, every and each one of them tells an interesting story, usually with a sick twist at the end.
Among other favourites are Nirvana, Slipknot, Paramore, CHVRCHES, System of a Down, Green Day, BABYMETAL, Gorillaz, Queen, The Doors, Cage the Elephant, The White Stripes, My Chemical Romance, Radiohead, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Motörhead, The Cranberries, Marilyn Manson, Slayer, The Prodigy, The HU, Powerwolf, Rammstein, Lindemann, Kodaline, Low Roar, Glass Animals, t.A.T.u., Die Antwoord, Skillet, Bring Me The Horizon, Little Big, Nine Inch Nails, Papa Roach, PVRIS and BLACKPINK.
As for solo-artists, I really like Ozzy Osbourne, Johnny Cash, Rob Zombie, Grimes, Miracle of Sound, Djo, Billie Eilish, grandson, Woodkid, Zemfira, Poppy, Sting, Eminem and Post Malone.
Overall I consider myself a melomaniac, I can find an artist that I like in basically any genre as I like all of them in one way or another. The very most favourite genres, though, are probably alternative rock and metal.

Not a fan of Linkin Park or TOP, but the rest of the bands you listed are stellar! I also love Chvrches, system, paramore, greenday, gorillaz, MCR, radiohead, and NIN.

Am I the only one who literally have no specific artist that I listen to when it comes to music? I just live my life and when I hear some good music I just add it to my playlist. It doesn't matter where it comes from. Games, series, movies, random videos... A good chunk of my playlist consists of soundtracks, remixes, fan songs. Y'all out here share you favorite artists, find same interests, create strong opinions on certain types of things, and I... The f is this???

Shame that SOAD don't do much new material as a band. The sixth studio album would be more than welcome.

For me those artists are a guarantee of a music I like. And if it sounds good to me, even after years of repetition and makes me feel good, why not? I do listen to weekly discover on Spotify and if something hits me, I'm adding it to my playlist.

I really don't know which band I love most, since it's mood dependent, but these are my favourites:
Powerwolf, Sabaton, Amon Amarth, Blind Guardian, Rammstein and Russkaja.
I also like some classic or neo classic music (Soundtracks):
Richard Wagner, Bach, Dvorak, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Hovard Shore, Jeremy Soule and Ramin Djawadi.
