Killers and Survivors Should Have Character Specific Perks

i'm not talking about teachables, I'm talking about things that only THAT specific character can use. EX: Claudette has better use of healing items over a person like Dwight or Feng Min (Without perks or addons) . Trapper is slightly faster than other killers when carrying survivors with out needing agitation. (Key Word: Slightly, not Game Breaking/OP BEG FER NERF)

Adding stuff like this to the game would be amazing as well as adding different types of play styles (Especially for survivors) I feel like it would also give the characters... well... character. (Especially survivors, they're practically just skins with perks)

    Agreed, killers have the power that makes them unique but all survivors are skins.
    Would love if the devs would do that, but I guess the balancing issues that would occur....

    No, that's not good because you will create even more meta. So much less other characters will be played. Also, others will be forced to play that one character for that playstyle instead to get that perks on characters that they like.

    It would definitely make killers and survivor seem a bit more unique. 

    when I first played this game I thought that the teachable perk would only be the first tier but I found out it gave all the way til tier 3. 

    Maybe they should just nerf teachable perks to only up to tier 2 but then Idk how they will reset this for everyone who owns the teachable perk already

    The teachables can stay, i'm just saying make the characters more unique besides a different power (killers) or just an alternate skin (survivors)

    I'd much prefer they just change it so that there are ultra-rare versions of the characters perks that are only unlockable by P3 characters after level 50. For example:

    Boil Over - Struggling effects on the Killer are increased by 125%. Hook Auras are obscured within 20 meters.

    Precisely...what is the point of making character specific perks and then nerf them because they enhance some other character?

    Survivors actually get hit harder because of the shared perk use....compared to killers some perks enhance only specific killers.

    Perks should be kept unique and if a meta character is created....so be it...

    Which I doubt is possible. The whole meta build relies on sharing perks.

    I don't feel like the devs are active enough in this game to have a feature like this work. Currently you can use any perk on any killer. This encourages players to branch our and try different killers and different builds. Imagine if, for example, the Nurse had exclusive ability like BBQ. You'd only see nurses running around. Then another character like Freddy, whose already weak, got a garbage ability. You'd never see Freddy ever again.

    And people who play for fun don't care for meta but their favourite character

    No, I'm saying certain characters should be better at certain things. Claudette is meant to be the healer of the survivors so she naturally should be better with healing items.

    @Ihatelife What is the point of adding a healer if every other character is able to fit that role just as well. I'm talking about other survivors as well.

    I like the idea that once you get a character to 50 you're guaranteed to get their three teachables at rank 3 and the rest is subject to the RNG but that's just me. :3

    Another example: Meg should be slightly faster than the other survivors due to her being the athlete of the survivors (I'M NOT SAYING FASTER THAN THE KILLER!)
