Playing as Hag is like playing as survivor

I think the key of succeed as hag is to use your knowledge as survivor. If you're survivor main and wanna play killer, then this killer is for you.

Basically what you need to do is you walk around the map, mimicking how you walk or being chased as survivor , and laying traps at key points such as narrow pathway, vaults, shortest distance to pallet, etc. Most of the time the trap will work.

I had a match where i only layed 3 traps before seeing the survivor, and that particular survivor triggered all my 3 traps and downed. It was so satisfying!

I'm just sharing this information here. Hope someone can benefit from it.

Yea that's how she is played. My favorite thing about hag is putting the traps on the other side of pallets that way when they run through it you get a guaranteed hit by either the survivor running back toward you or teleporting if they drop the pallet.

Perhaps this is why I enjoyed hag so much. I had about 320 hours into survivor before I touched her. Same could be said of Trapper though. You have to know where a survivor will go to make optimal use of your traps.

that only works in one direction, which you described. if it's another direction, that trap won't work. so i mostly don't trap pallet, and instead, trap where they'll go when they aim for the pallet.

Actually playing as Ghostface is more like playing survivor because you can crouch.

Yeah, Survivor experience is really really helpful when playing as Hag, as you can find unconventional trap placements that get great value. Take Rotten Fields for example, most people think this is one of Hag's weakest maps but as long as you have range addons I think it's pretty good. The nature of the vast open corn actually leads to quite predictable survivor movements - there's a few gens scattered throughout the corn and key landmarks/loops around the edges, and so 95% of the time survivors will move in straight lines between these. Place traps along these lines and you can surprise and get the leg up on even the best survivors, who will work to proactively disable traps in predictable locations.
