If Pennywise was put in the game, which version would you want?

tbh for me the OG looks much spookier. with the new one doesn't because it looks scary in the world it's placed in, meaning there is no way anyone with half a brain would trust him. the OG just looks like any other clown, and nobody would think it could be who it really is.

A New Interpretation Of Him
I would like to see them try and take ideas from both of the old and the new and try to make something cool out of it. But still have the other two as skins you can get for him

2018 Movie Version
Pennywise is a licensed character, which means he is entirely bound to the license holder and how they want BHVR to represent the character in the game. It has to be a faithful recreation of whatever source material they're using for reference, so I have no idea what "A New Interpretation Of Him" means. In all honesty if BHVR ever came to the negotiating table saying they wanted to create "a new Dead By Daylight interpretation of the character" that sounds like a really quick way for the license holders to leave right away because "they want to change our character to whatever they want."
Also if Ash Williams and Freddy Krueger are any indication, there are some serious licensing issues with getting previous incarnations of a character so I think that boots 1990 Pennywise out of the running as well.
The 2018 version is most likely the only option we have and that's not a bad thing either. They did a pretty good job on those movies.

Although the 2018 version would seem to be more appropriate from a marketing perspective, I have a special place in my heart for Tim Curry's original portrayal.
I will say that I found the 2018 version very over the top and forced at times. That part when he's in the sewer drain and says "I'm Pennywise the DANCING clown" with accompanying silly head movement. Pretty cringeworthy.

This is actually the reason why I think the new movie fits better to DBD :P
