To: Killers in the game
First let me start off by saying that I love playing survivor! Playing survivor has so many fun aspects, so I encourage killers to play survivor at least once. However, I saw myself getting so upset so much at killers for killing me while playing survivor, therefore I took the time to play as killer to understand the game More and to see their point of view. When I tell you I felt so horrible for getting upset at those killers that killed me after playing killer for a while, it was unsettling. Being a killer is stressful, you have four different people that have completely different ways they play the game. You have to kill them all and thats WITH a bunch of perks that you don't know if they have or not (especially if they're play with friends). I worried about focusing on downing and hooking someone before a gen popped because it seemed like they had the advantage and literally could hide in plain sight. From there, once I hit a person they got a sprint burst and was able to get to a pallet located close to them. Survivors have bushes, fog and walls to stop you from seeing them while they can see you and take that advantage to hide. I didn't realize that playing in first person was a lot more difficult than third when seeing their surroundings, therefore they have to rely more on hearing and seeing you at a glimpse hoping that they didn't just misread the situation. Once playing killer, I realized that its not as easy as it may seem to kill survivors. Yes they may more a bit faster but its for a reason. I just want to apologize to the killers I've gotten upset at in the past because now as someone thats been on the other side, its not nearly as easy as previously thought. Now when a killer kills me, I have respect for them for having the will and using game theory to foresee what the survivor may do and playing a good play to down them. To my survivors, don't be upset that someone kills you. Play as killer at least once and you will realize that its a lot harder for them to get you than you may think. Dont bully killers by t-bagging and being an annoying a-hole, knowing you have perks that will get you out of any situation, that will get you face camped because you kinda deserve it tbh. To killers, I resect your gameplay and just know I understand why you face camp and tunnel. Its because either they're being toxic or because they're getting gens done WAYYY too quick. Its smart! Survivors, if a killer face camps or tunnels while all of the gens are done and everyone BUT the one survivor are healed, would you let them go? An honest answer would be no. Personally I try to get others regardless but I understand why those people do it. I know I may get a lot of hate due to the amount of survivors vs. killers in the game but I wanted to let you all know how I feel.
