A Small Trail of Torment Buff/Adjustment Concept
Just in case for those who are unaware, this is the current Trail of Torment:
You guide your victims along a path of pain and punishment.
After kicking a Generator , you become Undetectable for 16 seconds.
During this time, the Generator's Aura is revealed in yellow to all Survivors.
Trail of Torment can only be triggered once every 80/70/60 seconds.
The Issue with the Perk: Currently, this perk give survivors far too much information for what the upside is. The balance team wanted to ensure that the survivors had some way of knowing when the perk was activated in order to allow them to react accordingly. However, this doesn't seem to be the case.
As a predominantly survivor player, I always notice that the perk actually leads to me completing gens way faster. Sometimes, I see the yellow aura from across the map and think "Oh, the killer isn't near me right now. I can complete this generator with little risk of me being found". If I'm close to the gen when it turns yellow, all I have to do is make sure I got my exits covered, and continue working on my gen. This is admittedly a little risky, but it's really not that difficult, especially if the gen is in a more open area.
Suggested rework:
You guide your victims along a path of pain and punishment.
After kicking a Generator, you become Undetectable for 16 seconds.
When the perk is activated, an omni-directional sound queue is heard by all survivors.
Trail of Torment can only be triggered once every 80/70/60 seconds.
What would this fix?
It would still allow survivors to know when its activated, but unlike the previous version, it would NOT tell them where it was activated. With this new version, Trail of Torment can apply a significantly larger amount of map pressure, and eliminate the ensured feeling of safety that might come if the gen he broke was far away.
I'd like to hear comments/criticism on this. I'm trying to get better at designing perks.

That actually a really good balance change gives a clue to survivors that its been activated but keeps the stealth aspect of it cause you dont know where it was kicked so you on alert for the next 16 seconds and more prone to mistakes.
I like it nice one there :)

I like it! In fact, the concept of perk does not change, but the effect has become more fair imo, so great work!
