Scratch marks are reflective?

So i was running fixated with my Nea with the fluorescent pink hair and when ever i was looking at my scratch marks it was like there was a trail of pink behind my head being reflected by the scratch marks. Is this intended?
It was pretty cool and took me a while to figure out why my scratch marks were becoming pink.
