Why mostly survivors are so bad ??

Hey,

First , i'm french and my english is not really good, so sorry for my mistakes.... i just want share some thoughts.

I don't want to offense anyone, i'm playing at DBD for 2 weeks now ( i'm rank 10) and honestly i just don't understand why mostly survivor are really bad at this game , even with ranked 10 or less

for example :

  • why when i'm hook, a survivor try to save me but the killer is not far ??? just why you do such stupid thing like this. for what results ? the killer kill me and hurt the survivor
  •  there is still  1 gen to do, 3 people in the game , nobody do it ??? why you count on other to do it ?
  • why in so many game, in the first minute in the game, 2 survivors are already hurt by the killer ? be patient, think before running and repair the gen !
  • why when a survivor do a speed chase nobody repair the gen ?? use this time to do something! don't hiding behind a tree
  • why when a survivor is hooked , he is letting himself die  ? gain time for your team !

I saw this kind play even with survivors ranked 12 and less. So sometimes it's really frustrating to play, and be killed in 2 minute bc your mate doesn't play correctly and don't doing basics things correctly so you lost a rank because of it or your score is bad

I don't want complaining or seem toxic, but it make the play boring... and ofc i don't say i don't make mistakes or i'm an amazing survivor bc i'm not but survivors with some level need to stop to do such stupid think and ruining the game for other.

1: Survivors save you right in front of the killer because they want that BP for a hook save. If they had borrowed time it is acceptable cause it gives you a chance. They also probably assume you have decisive strike because every survivor runs it. Bottom line, the savior is greedy. There's also this widely believed illusion that killers shouldn't go after someone pulled off a hook.

2: Often people assume someone else is doing a gen so they can get a gate. One of the reasons headsets are so powerful is you can tell everyone whats going on.

3: People run straight to a gen at the start. That's normal but most players actually suck at chases or the killer won a mind game. In this game you can be carried as a survivor and they have a lot of 2nd chance perks. I've seen rank 1's who suck at loops. Makes me wonder if they only did gens and healed someone. Never actually ran into the killer most matches. They could have been several times when they should have died but stuff like DS, BT and Adren saved them. Take those away and a lot of people would lose.

4: Again, lack of communication. Though this is probably how the game was meant to be played. Without headsets.

5: Since they introduced disconnect penalties people let themselves die on the hook so they can leave a match they don't like. Some people feel if they aren't having fun it's their right to leave. As if the other 4 people in the match do not matter. I've seen people who dc every single time they face a certain killer. I've never seen any other game forum defend people from disconnecting.
