From a new player: Thank you!
Hi all
I wanted to take a minute to post and say thank you to some of the killers out there. I bought DBD a while ago when Freddy came out because I'm a huge NOES fan... but didn't really stick around. It wasn't my usual fast-paced game (Think Overwatch, Smite, etc). I saw the Silent Hill promo recently and I decided to come back and check it out.
Anyway, what my point here is, I've had at least 2, if not more killers now, that have not only helped me, but rescued me. This last one, Michael Myers, had me and was carrying me to the basement. The rest of the team opened the gates, Mr Myers dropped me, picked me back up, took me upstairs and dropped me again. I, being the normal middle-aged man that I'm both LARPing and playing in the game as, immediately started screaming and running away like a manchild (not much of a stretch). I promptly got lost because I had no idea which way to go. Mr Myers, ever the gentleman that he is, with his arm outstretched, knife pointing downwards, starting walking AHEAD of me. I'm like "oh, uh, is this the part where I'm hypnotized or...?" No, Mr Myers was leading me to the gate. And in order to accentuate (very nicely!) what I was to do, he swung his outstetched, knife-wielding arm back and forth, first pointing at me, then at the exit. In a very rapid, stiff fashion as only a Michael Myer sized mapped skin in Unreal could.
I ran screaming like any manchild would straight out the gates.
SO yeah! TL;DR: Thank you to all you very nice killers out there that help poor, dumb newbs like myself who have no clue what to even do half the time. And Mr Myers - your help was much appreciated. I wish I could have capped the video of the swinging and pointing. It was honestly one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time!
