The same debate as we had last Christmas.
The recent changes to Event cosmetics make no sense. While yes they where not as "hard" to get as Legacy cosmetics the entire point was that they are not comming back. They said so in the Livestream that they announced the howling grounds event in. "uhhh but people lost their Event items and we can't verify who has legit once" yeah guess what i lost my Legacy Claudett and Trapper because of your Level 0 Bug back in the day. Did i got a compensation? NO. where i happy that i got something of a sublement in form of The Event cosmetics? YES. Am i dissapointed now that i get dissapointed again? YES.
Either Both Legacy and Event Cosmetics have to be free-for-all or non of them. End of debate.

Behavior does not care so they will release them and will find a way down the line to back peddle so that legacy can be released give them time they always find a way to disappoint everyone.

You cannot compare Legacy to those Event Cosmetics. The effort was way different.

problem is everything else is the same
Limited time? Check
People lost it due to bugs? Check
Devs can't verify who has legit once? Check
Everything exept the Effort is similar, and since the effort of players that got the Event cosmetics gets devalued the dedication of Players getting legacy can surely be devalued aswell.
Or both remain locked.

We can add all Rift Cosmetics to this list also though.
Unlock all rift cosmetics for the exact same reasons you're unlocking other past event exclusive items.
Otherwise you're simply full of excuses.

You pay money for the Rift stuff, you paid nothing (except the cost of the game itself) for these events and hell even Legacy. Also they're going to release the Rift cosmetics (idk about the Charms) to the store for sale at a later date.

Legitimacy can't be verified, but streamers that have lost legacy should have it given back as they DO have proof. Puppers lost his and never got it back. I think it's more a matter of laziness.

Yes but their reasoning is the same. By their logic, “we think this is best for the community” then what’s best for “the community” would be to also give everyone who paid for the rift the cosmetics even if they don’t grind out the fragments.

Or what? Is this some kind of ultimatum? Because this isn't a debate. It's not happening.
They've never promised or insisted that the event items would never be available in the future, they have repeatedly emphasized Legacy is never coming back.

How is that even remotely the same? One's paid for, one isn't. One brings in revenue to the company allowing them to pay their employees, the other...was from free events??? I'm. No, apples and oranges.
