Pig jigsaw boxes mechanism

Greetings I would like to know that if The Pig boxes works like:

a) One of the boxes have the key

b) Its a percentaje that one box have the key and increase with the more boxes u search

    I'm pretty sure the way it works is each helmet has a respective box that unlocks it (pulled at random.) I say that because any time I'm in a match against Pig where multiple survivors are trying to take their helmets off, I will never get my helmet off at the same box as one of my team mates. Using this knowledge I've usually been able to take off my helmet safely (so long as I know where my team mates have been) since I know by process of elimination that they had gotten their own helmet off at a certain box so mine has to be another one.

    I don't think the % increases per box either.

    One box has the key, and it is decided when the trap is placed on the survivor. Each box could have a key, or they could all be within the same box.

    There are no identifiers (that I know of!) as to which box has the key in it. It is literally a guessing game as to which box has the key.
