We are keeping the cosmetic after earning it, right?

The cosmetics (crowns) are not going away after the event, are they? My friend thinks they are but from what I read it seemed like they were cosmetics that were permanently on your account.
Besides them probably releasing them for free eventually, they are staying on your account from the time you earn it forward, right?

Yes like other event cosmetics what you earn you keep. If they vanish for whatever reason go to customer support.
Though once the event ends you cant get them unless it comes back next year.

I can't imagine they would make us go through all this trouble to take them away, although I wouldn't put it past them.
