Not receiving cosmetic bug possible fix found

I was having a lot of trouble getting the cosmetic after escaping with the crown. I worked out if you just tap the button it will always make the shrine disappear and respawn elsewhere and sometimes you will get the glow effect while sometimes you dont. If you have the button instead it seems to give the cosmetic at the end of the game. Think of it like breaking a gen but you dont get the action bar to appear. Since then I've been holding the button and have received the cosmetic 5 times in a row.
