any ideas for a killer power that would work for the thing if it were a killer

me and my friend were talking about this since shape shifting of the table we thought of being able to prob a survivor and burst out of them later

    Like, a parasite or chest burster type thing? You could have an infection power; implates baby via violence into 1 survivor who than becomes the obsession. The survivor has 180/160/140 seconds to cleanse before becoming a mother!

    And cleansing stations like the fountains for plague to cure survivors.

    hive connection; your children call to you. Shows the aura of the mother (obsession) until knocked off by another survivor. This curses them with cry baby.

    Cry baby: forces a survivor to become emotionally unstable and cry for the next 6/8/10 seconds. Loudly.

    Otherwise you could have something closer to a blend in ability; look like the obsession and becomes undetectable for 20/25/30 seconds. Attacking removes the illusion of familiarity.
