I really want to know if this is an intended mechanic by the Devs, and if so why
Basically a variation of window tech. I know that you can run behind the killer while they're vaulting to misdirect the way you went, however recently I had an encounter where it was obvious the survivor was trying to window tech, so when i vaulted i didn't move, but they were able to move through my hitbox and vault the window. Is this an intended mechanic? Are there any devs that can confirm this? If so, why are survivors able to move through a solid object like a killer, and if not will this issue be looked into?

Interesting, this usually prevents them from moving through or vaulting the window when I do this. I've done it as recent as 2 nights ago when working on killer crowns.

I think it might have something to do with the hitbox itself. The way I see it, if a killer vaults a window but the survivor is close enough to essentially be 'inside' a killer hitbox, the game registers it like you got hit, forcing the killer to become passable. That's my theory on it, since I've had the same thing happen to me. I can always see a survivors plan to attempt it, and I don't move, but they still somehow manage to vault back through the window.
