Devour Hope Totem Didn't Spawn

• Description of the issue:
So I had a match last night where i had to get 4 hits as hag after teleporting as a challenge. I spawned on the map with only having Hex:Devour Hope as a perk(I havent leveled up the hag at all lol) I get into the game where I get the deathslinger map(cant remember what its called) and I begin to set up traps however, I dont see my hex totem anywhere on the map. However later on I noticed that I was still getting stacks even though there wasnt a totem at all. I was able to get enough stacks where I could instadown them all and it still worked. I wanted to see if this was a bug that anyone else has encountered before or if its something new.

Go into the match with devour hope only
• How often does this occur
this is the first time this has happened to me. Then again I rarely use devour as it tends to go pretty quickly.
